“You know after hearing it for some reason I don’t feel afraid, I guess something really far away sounded off. I guess it is just instincts.” I said as she nodded.
“So the reason I called you down here to talk is one reason only.” She said as I raised an eyebrow.
“Milady…no Diana I was wondering if you and Percy were using protection.” She said as a golden blush hit me like a slap as I coughed a little.
“What why are you asking this of course we do, highly potent magic that keeps me from conceiving. God why would you ask that?” I blurted out as I heard someone scamper from the door in embarrassment with a lot of others.
“Good that got our crowd to go away.” She said as I gave her a questioning look.
“You did that to just tease me.” I said as she nodded.
“Yes I did and if you will can you put up a barrier.” She said as I did making the room sound proof.
“What is it that I need to put up a barrier for?” I asked her.
“Milady I am pregnant.”
NOW:
DIANA POV:
I was stunned as the words came from her mouth, I just blinked a couple of times and looked around. Elizabeth just sat there as thoughts raced across my mind, finally it hit me her oath.
“H-how?” I asked her.
“I finally met the one.” She said with a smile as her oath was in the green at that.
“You mean you finally met your true love?” I asked her excited a little I wasn’t alone.
“Yeah Percy introduced us.” She said while messing with her said.
“That man.” I said as she laughed.
“Well if you are pregnant and I can’t believe my powers didn’t pick up on it.” I said.
“Well Percy did say he would help me keep it a secret from you guys.” She said.
“Next time I see him I need to hit him.” I said as she laughed again.
“Also since you are pregnant I cannot allow you on this mission, as soon as we land I will send you back home regardless of what you say.” I said as her eyes went wide.
“Milady you need me out there, I am the most skilled in the hunt!” She tried.
“My word is final I cannot risk a child’s life who has no say in this event, you will go home and that is final. But don’t worry you will still help, you will be in charge of communications.” I said as she tried to think of something.
“But milady-.” I stopped her.
“There are no buts in this conversation you are carrying for two now, and I do not want to deliver the news to the father that his soon to be wife and child were killed in battle.” I said as she looked down in defeat.
“When you get back you two are getting married by the way you have my blessing.” I said as she looked up with a smile on her face.
“Well I would have liked it if you were there but…” She said.
“Oh don’t worry once Venus is out of the way and Poseidon holds control over her country the wedding will happen so the hunt can be there. Also we can’t forget Percy so I guess you have a couple of years to plan for it.” I said.
“You are right…I will go back and help out however I can.” She said as I smiled.
“In the mean time you need to rest okay.” I said as she nodded.
“How much longer until we land?” She asked me.
“About a week at most.” I said.
“Great morning sickness on a boat for a week very nice.” She said.
“Can’t wait till you and Percy have a child so you can feel the things I am going through.” She said as I blushed.
“Y-you…” I just tried to think of something as I blushed.
“When was the last time you guys were together, I think it was a little over 3 weeks ago.” She said putting her finger to her head to think.
“How did you know?” I asked her.
“Please I can when you two do it, the number one reason is that your hair is a rat nest in the morning. Second is that your room that I clean if you forgot smells heavily of sex.” She said as I blushed hard.
“Really?” I asked her.
“Yeah really bad, you don’t hide it that well.” She said.
“Well whatever get some sleep and let the girls know about the little person inside you, I am sure Thalia will be super happy.” I said as she nodded and laughed at a possible scenario in her head.
“I will, but you need to get some sleep to milady.” She said as I stood up and took off the spell and stood to the side of the door.
“Don’t worry I will.” I said as I opened the door as I let several hunters fall in and pile on Thalia who was on the bottom.
“Get some sleep girls.” I said as I jumped over the pile and went to my bed to sleep, as I laid down I covered my body with the silver covers I always had. I let out a much needed yawn as I settled in my bed and closed my eyes in hope that tomorrow would be a good day.
LINEBREAK:
PERCY POV:
I had been floating in a darkness what had seemed to be forever not carrying what my body was doing. At first I yelled at the blackness in rage for no reason, it seeming to never stop as I got angry at everything. But finally it died down after a long time as I learned to control it after what felt like years.
My mind felt stronger as I concurred the rage in me as well as my body, my emotions more in my control. Even when I was the universe I never felt so in control of myself this new feeling was blissful it gave my mind the time to think past emotions.
I honed my senses as well with the rage in me as I floated in the void, but after what felt like years in the blackness I began to get sleepy. Like my rage in me was dyeing and finally going out from its intense flame. For weeks I felt on the brink of sleep as the last of the flame of rage sucked was little was left in me.
Even if I was in control of it I couldn’t control the rage as it left me, but for weeks I grew more and more tired. But never able to go to sleep as I just floated around in the blackness of my consciousness. But what seemed to be the day before sleep I encountered a being in this void of blackness.
“So you are my host.” I heard as I turned around to see a spitting image of my animal form, I just stared at him as he stood in front of me towering over me.
“Yes I am, I guess you are Lurker.” I said as he nodded and looked me over.
“You are indeed a fine vessel to let me blow my pent up rage from my death, I give you my thanks.” He said bowing to me but he still was taller.
“No problem just hope you didn’t do anything stupid to my body.” I said to him as he laughed.
“Ah my friend do not worry your body is fine and asleep in a cave, but again I give you my thanks. Also you have achieved my 9^th horn and are halfway to the 10^th.” He said.
“Why do you want 10 horns anyways?” I asked him.
“When a Land Ruler achieves 10 horns something happens, I do not know what but something happens. Even me as the first Land Ruler which has grown from elder to king I do not know.” He said shaking his head.
“Well I hope to work with you again, by the way Jessica is looking for you.” He said as he disappeared. As he did it felt like I was hit by a frying pan on the head that was still hot and had boiling grease in it. With a jolt I shot up wherever I was, as I looked around I had nothing but a pair of underwear on which I guess was my armor.
‘Percy your awake thank god!’ I heard Jessica yell suddenly startling me.
‘What is wrong with you, don’t scare me like that!’ I mentally yelled at her back.
‘Sorry it just has been so long since I have talked to anyone but these tow idiots.’ She said earing to hey’s from them.
‘Wait how long has it be-.’ I stopped as I felt someone enter the cave as I sprung up, just as the opened the door to the area I was in. The person had their back to the door as they used it to open the door with as they carried something. I summoned a dagger in my hand just as the person turned around with a bucket of steaming water.
As they saw me up they dropped the water causing us both to jump as I got a closer look under the hood of the winter coat I saw it was a female. Instantly they ran out the door shouting someone’s name and he is awake. As I looked out the door I noticed it was snowing outside, just how long was I out?
As I looked around I just sat down on a nearby chair to find my stomach let out a gurgle in the need for food. I then noticed a tray of bread a cheese that I quickly dove into, not wanting to summon any food. As I stuffed my face I finally looked around the room or cave to find it fully furnished and very spacy.
It had everything but electronics and running water, it had three beds and the sheets I was using to lay on. There was a fire pit in the middle of the room providing enough heat for the whole cave. There was a lot of skins of different animals that was mostly the sheets for the beds, as well as patriates of people.
I got up as I summoned a pair of short to hide me more not bothering with a shirt as I munched on a block of cheese. As I looked at the photo I saw three people a young boy with blond hair a young girl both with light blue eyes. The third was a man hugging the two who seemed to be in his mid-forties with blond hair and blue eyes.
Just then the door shot open revealing the same girl before and the younger male, both about 5 years older than the photo. Maybe about 16 years old each they both were breathing heavy from running. Just then the older man waked in with a sword at his side ready to strike me at any time.
“Where is your wife?” I asked him as I showed him the photo.
“…Put that down please.” He said shuffling the sword a little to show he was going to strike if I didn’t listen, which I just set it down.
“Thank you please take a seat sir.” He said pointing at the seat by the plate of food, I just quickly sat down as a shirt was tossed my way. It was simple black and a v-neck which fit me perfectly as they sit down on the older male’s bed. It was silent for a while until he finally spoke.
“Sir when we found you, you were in a snow bank shivering. So I and Chris here dragged you to this cave. I just what to know what you know about yourself and why you are here.” He said still holding onto the sword.
“Well I don’t even know where here is so I don’t know what to tell you, but I do know I do not wish to harm you I swear it on my name.” I said as he just kept a calm hand on the sword.
“Well you are in the mountains in Jupiter’s land, not many people live in these regions anymore since Diana’s army took hold of it.” He said.
“Is that so might I ask your names if you do not wish to give them I do not mind.” I said as the first to speak was the girl.
“My name is Jessica the younger one is Garrett he is mute, and the older one is Luke.” She said as I could see the resemblance in the faces.
“Well it is nice to meet you three my name is Perseus Jackson.” I said as Luke raised an eyebrow.
“What an old fashion name.” He said putting away his sword seeing as I am not a threat to him.
“I know my mother thought it would give me his luck.” I said as he laughed.
“So Mr. J why are you here anyways is there anything you can remember?” Jessica asked me.
“No I cannot I am afraid, but before I tell you anything can the children leave I wish to have a talk with Luke?” I asked him as he nodded as the children pouted but went outside.
“So how long have you been outcasts?” I asked him as his body stiffened.
“Trust me it takes one to know one.” I said to him as she just somewhat relaxed.
“For 16 years.” He said as I nodded and looked at him.
“What type of immortality?” I asked him as he stood up.
“In all your pictures your appearance hasn’t changed, and if I am right you smell of the road and fresh mail you are a son of Hermes are you not.” I said as he drew his blade.
“I wouldn’t try that if I were you.” I said as the children burst in panting again.
“Daddy…someone…is…at…the…house…from…the…capital.” The girl panted as Luke just looked at me then the children.
“You two stay here and watch of Mr. J okay.” He said putting away his sword and walking out the door but not without locking it. Which left me with Luke’s kids.
“So where are you from mister.” The girl asked.
“I am from a place not far from here, Diana’s continent.” I said as she just looked at me with wide eyes.
“But-.” I cut her off.
“Don’t worry I am not here to harm you guys, I don’t even know how I ended up in this place.” I told her as her brother used sign language to talk to her, but I just responded before she could translate.
“No I am not a solider.” I said as both their eyes widened, not a second later he was asking me something.
“Do you have any powers?” I said repeating his question as the girl hit him.
“I am sorry he doesn’t know when to not ask some questions.” She said as he rubbed his head.
“No it is fine I have some powers but-.” I stopped as I heard the door open as a Luke came back in with a hooded person. Instantly the two kid shot to her as Luke smiled at the three.
“Mommy!” Jessica said as Garret just made a dry sound like a cough, Luke just glanced at me with threating eyes as I just looked away. Finally the three got out of their giant bear hug as the women stood up and took off her hood, instantly I recognized her.
“Annabeth Chase!” I shouted as she whipped in my direction with a look of shock and hate.
“Percy Jackson!” She yelled at me as she drew a dagger but was quickly stopped by Luke and the two children.
“Mommy don’t hurt him.” The girls said as she pushed her mother as Luke hugged his arms around her.
“Why not this man is a menace!” She screamed at me as I realized what was happening.
“I see now you fell in love with Luke a child of Hermes a Greek and you being a child of Minerva that was unacceptable in your home. So to keep this a secret you hid them in the mountains while the war in Jupiter land raged on.” I said as I connected the dots as everyone stiffened.
“We have to kill him he knows.” She said in a hissing voice to Luke who nodded.
“Wow let’s not get to killing me just yet okay, I swear on my name I will not tell anyone about this.” I said as she stopped and nodded instantly as Luke looked confused at her.
“Why are you stopping?” He questioned her.
“Because if he swears on his name I know he won’t tell anyone, for his name is something that is not lightly throne around nowadays. Even if you did go missing.” She said to me.
“Wait missing?” I asked her as she looked at me as she sat down with everyone.
“Yes you have been missing and when you were gone a monster has been terrorizing Jupiter’s land. I am amazed I would find you in a place like this.” She said to me.
“Wait monster?” I asked her.
“Yes no one has seen it because no one has live to tell anyone about it, the only thing we can tell about the murders is that it eats it victims.” She said as I palled to a deathly shade, the only thought going through my mind was it was not possible.
“Wait how long was I gone?” I asked her.
“Well I don’t know the exact number but somewhere between 210 years to 200 years, the same length the monster has been about.” She said as I instantly ran outside and threw up on the ground. They followed me out as I threw up again.
I just suddenly saw myself as no longer human at that point I was no longer human, I just sat up in the snow as they looked at me. I gently wiped my mouth and looked at them as I locked my emotions up in a steal box.
“What’s wrong?” She asked me.
“Oh nothing just…I don’t know how Diana is going to react to me being gone.” I said.
“Oh no one but a select few know you are gone in our army and yours, those are me, these three, Jupiter and his Olympian gods. No one on your side know since your clone has been seen with your hunters. Basically Diana thinks you are with the Greek hunt right now.” She said as I smiled.
“Good I don’t know if she could have taken the news.” I said as Luke laughed at the thought as Annabeth smacked him.
“Well I have to get back or-.” I tried to get up but failed as I fell back in the snow bank.
“I can’t feel my legs.” I said as I sat there, just looking at the ground.
“Well come inside and eat something.” Jessica said as I shook my head.
“No I cannot stay any longer. I am endangering you four if I stay her any longer. Annabeth help me up please.” I said but Luke came over and helped me up as I patted his shoulder, I just stood there as Luke took his side at Annabeth’s side.
“You know Percy it wasn’t your fault.” Annabeth said as she figured out what I was thinking.
“I know but I am nothing but a monster now, even if I hold the form of a human.” I said as my jacket appeared on my back as I looked up at the sky.
“Annabeth I will keep your secret and I hope you stay safe, also how far is Diana’s forces?” I asked her.
“About 5/8ths the way to the capital.” She said.
“Wow that far in 200 years.” I said as my wings ripped out of my back in their white feather form to not scare her kids. As I turned to see them they all looked impressed at all five sets.
“Annabeth I hope you stay safe, and I hope keep quiet on what I have done. As a gift for you and your husband’s hospitality I give Garrets the voice he always wanted.” I said as I snapped my fingers and flew up leaving the four behind.
As I flew I threw up again and crashed a few miles away, I dug a trench in the ground as I dry heaved. I just stay there my wings out as I thought of the possibilities. Suddenly I heard someone coming as I looked to see Luke burst from the brush and help me up.
“Why are you helping me?” I asked him as my wings folded up.
“Because your mind is started you won’t be able to do anything for a few days, just get some rest then return to battle.” He said helping me walk back to the house.
“Your pretty fast.” I told him.
“Yeah I get that a lot.” He said as after an hour of hiking we reached his log cabin, with the cave about a football field away. As we walked in I was hit with the scent of warm soup, as he sat me down, I saw Annabeth with her hair up in a ponytail cooking dinner.
“Thank you so much.” I said as she glanced at me.
“Do not thank me thank Garrett, with his first words he said don’t go away. And after we saw you crash Luke was after you, because Garrett asked him to go.” She said taking a glance at me as Luke got up and started helping her.
In the silence I just looked at how happy the two were as she laughed as Luke grabbed her hand and helped her cop vegetables. She just snuggled into his chest as they chopped them together completely forgetting about the three people watching them. One of which was making a face of horror as one just looked with no emotions.
“You two don’t see them together very often do you.” I said as Jessica nodded.
“This is the first time in a couple of months she has been here, we don’t get to see her very often so we make the best of it.” She said making a horrified face as Luke kissed Annabeth.
“Eww.” I heard a new voice as I looked at Garrett, his voice was just like Luke’s very strong and commanding.
“I think he likes your gift as much as we do, I never got the chance to thank you Percy.” Luke said sitting down with a big pot of steaming soup that smelled just like my mothers.
“Well I made enough to feed Luke about 5 times so I think you will be fine Percy eat up.” Annabeth said as I looked at her, Jessica just ladled out the soup in our bowls as I starred at her.
“Annabeth why are you so nice to me after I disgraced you.” I said looking at a floating carrot by a piece of chicken.
“Because you were right I hate to admit it but you were right, after that moment I started to think about the path I was going. During that time I met Luke and had two beautiful children, I would dare to say I thank you Percy without you I wouldn’t have this type of life.” She said in all sincerity.
“I don’t know what to say.” I said as I took a sip of the soup, to only force myself to swallow it. Not because it was bad it was delicious, but because as I did the thought of me eating humans raced in my mind.
“Hey it’s okay Percy you didn’t do those things something inside you did, I know what it means to feel the way you feel. Even my animal form had its moments that disgust me.” Luke said looking at me as I nodded and went in again, this time I actually tasted it. It was delicious so much in fact I started to cry.
Maybe it was because I hadn’t tasted any food for 200 years or the fact that it held the taste of home in it. A warm feeling raced in me as I swallowed it, a feeling of belonging. I had to say Annabeth still had her ways to make others feel better in some way no matter the dimension.
“Why are you crying Mr. J.” Jessica asked me.
“Oh nothing just some old feelings of home.” I said as I took another bite finding my hunger growing to massive proportions. They just watched as I cried in pain and joy of the food as I ate bowl after bowl. I may have control over my emotions but this was feelings I didn’t dare not show.
“Wow I haven’t seen anyone eat my food like that since Luke had it for the first time.” Annabeth said as I stopped briefly to catch my breath as I drank down another bowl. Even though the heat burn my throat I didn’t care I was hungry.
Finally I was done as I polished off the whole cauldron of soup, they all just stared at me with wide eyes. Jessica had her mouth open as Luke just laughed as I rubbed my belly, I was full for the first time since I lost the 6 and Khione.
“You see food can sometimes cure people.” Luke told Annabeth as she scoffed him off.
“Thank you two for the meal but I must go.” I said as I stood up but a hand grabbed my arm, I looked to find Annabeth holding onto me.
“Oh no you don’t you have to work off that meal, don’t think I am that generous.” She said as Luke smiled as did the kids. I couldn’t help but let a smile play on my lips.
“And what would the first task be?” I asked her.
“Cleaning dishes then chopping wood for tonight.” She said as I nodded and picked up all the dishes and carried them over to the sink. I didn’t use magic as I felt the soap slip around my fingers. It felt good to do something so simple without magic, after I was done and finished washing off them and drying I went out to chop wood.
Luke offered me a coat in the darkness of the night but I just showed him my jacket and walked out with a lantern. But he followed me out as I began chopping wood with deadly precision he just watched holding the lantern as I went through the wood like it was nothing.
“Were you telling the truth about your animal form to me?” I asked him as I was still going.
“Why would I lie to you, yes I did. The wolf in me took over to let out its rage, but in the process killed 10 humans and ate 4. I looked at myself like a monster for years but Annabeth straightened me out.” He said.
“Well all I know is that I have killed hundreds of thousands and have eaten all of them.” I said to him.
“…” He stayed silent as I suddenly stopped chopping and looked at him.
“Don’t worry dude I am sure it will pass over like nothing.” He said as I nodded at him and gathered my chopped wood. As I dropped them inside I looked to see Annabeth reading a book to her children.
“They don’t get a lot of time to read so Annabeth normally reads a book to them when she comes over.” Luke said setting down the wood he carried in. Outside a blizzard was brewing as cold wind blew in the house. Luke shut the door and took of his jacket and sat down with Annabeth on a love seat.
I just took a seat in the coach alone and laid down as I listen to Annabeth read Peter Pan to them, the words flowed like water from her mouth. No stuttering or repeating words as she read, as the words entered my ears I began to feel tired and then I was out like a light not even falling into the familiar darkness but instead nothing my mind going blank.
LINEBREAK:
With a scream I shot out of bed with a dagger already drawn, I looked around to find the source of the noise as I found the front door wide open. I looked to find everyone’s shoes still by the door put foot prints still in the snow at the door. As I ran outside armed and ready I saw a sight I didn’t quite know what to think of.
On the ground was Jessica and Garrett tied up, Luke had a sword out with Annabeth with a knife at his back as they stood protectively around the children. But the sight that confused me was the people surrounding them. They wore black cloaks hiding their faces, but on the back of one of them was a symbol of Jupiter.
“What do you want here?” Yelled Luke at them as a man without his hood stepped forward holding a black sword.
“We are Jupiter’s shadow hunters, we have come to you today to kill you for your act against the law.” He said in a deathly calm voice, as I looked around there was about 15 men and women in hoods in the trees and on the ground. I just watched from the doorway no one noticing me.
“What law have I broken, I remember doing nothing against his lord.” Annabeth yelled at him.
“Oh you are very aware, you one of Minerva’s strongest Roman blooded children has consorted with a Greek a son of Hermes no less. These children are proof of that, we do have a warrant for your arrest but Jupiter said to just kill you.” He said raising his sword.
“My mother would not allow this to go unpunished.” Annabeth said.
“Your mother was the one who told Jupiter to have us go into an investigation.” He said as Annabeth looked death stricken as the words left his mouth.
“Why…” She tried but was at a loss of words as everyone drew their weapons, all bows of black material. That is went I finally stepped in.
“Sir I believe this family is under my protection, so threatening them would be the same as threatening me.” I said as I walked outside, as I did I noticed some of them instantly noticed me.
“Why are you here?” He asked me as I summoned some much needed winter clothes for them.
“I am here to visit the deserter Annabeth Chase, the moment she left behind the forces of Jupiter she became under my protection. Her and her husband Luke and her children are currently under the protection of Percy Jackson and the forces of Diana.” I said stepping in front of the family as Annabeth just looked at me.
“You…” He said looking at his troops then me.
“You haven’t heard the last of me.” He said as he turned around.
“Oh I am sure I have.” I said as I summoned an ice stake from the ground in my hand, in quicker than a second I threw it. It sailed like a dream through the air faster than his reaction as it impaled his back. Quicker than the others could move I summoned my bow and fired 15 arrows, each one meeting its target.
As the arrows met them I kept the gore to a minimum as it struck each of their heads making them blow off but away from us. As I stood with my bow out and the second ended the all of the bodies dropped to the ground. The family looked scared as I began walking to my still alive old man pinned to a tree.
“You’re really the best Jupiter can muster?” I asked him as Annabeth looked around with Luke at the corpses I left in my wake. The snow slowly turning red around us, as I got a few feet from him he spit at my face.
“Really? Real professional, I don’t even think I would have need to intervene in this. Annabeth would have had no trouble with you fools.” I said whipping my face as he smiled at me with bloody teeth. The ice javelin still pinning his gut to the tree.
“You see boy we are not simply simple hunters we are truly powerful when we all become one.” He said as suddenly I felt the bodies disappear into liquid. I jumped back on instinct as suddenly his body began to swell and become bloated as he laughed at me.
“You have done it now boy, none of you are making it out of her alive!” He yelled as his body suddenly morphed into a giant monster that I had never seen before.
It had in total 16 heads of a lion, necks as long as a hydra, a body covered in golden fur, the body that of a hellhound, a tail that was a snake that breathed fire. It reeked to high hell with the smell of rotting fish, it heads breathing fire, ice, gas, and simple air. Every heard breathed something none left out.
It let out a mixed roar of all the animals present in its transformation, as I looked at its giant feet holding up its 5 story high heads. I had to give it credit it looked like a killing machine.
“God dammit!” Yelled Annabeth.
“What is it?” Luke asked her.
“I told them it was not stable yet, the fusion of animal forms would kill the users if they tried it.” She said as she stood up with her family, the children just shaking in fear as I looked at the beast finally finishing its roar.
“Daddy are we going to die?” Asked Jessica crying as he hugged her with Annabeth along with Garrett. All preparing to die in their family hug.
“No we aren’t we are just…” He stopped as he began crying as the thing stopped closer.
“As I said this family is under my protection, did I not make myself clear.” I said as the surroundings started to get colder, as I took a step forward the beast took a step back. Its animal instinct saying I was a more powerful animal than it. But it just took a step forward again as the man’s mind took over the animal instinct.
“Leave an I will let you live.” I said giving my last warning not really wanting to change into my animal form.
“You will die here boy.” I heard in the man’s voice from the animal.
“Very well, you will experience hell itself.”
ANNABETH POV:
I saw Percy just simply summon a sword almost as big as he was but with a quick look at us I saw the look in his eyes. I quickly grabbed Jessica and Garrett and ran away from the scene, Luke followed close behind as suddenly a scream of the monster was heard. But we kept running till we ran in the house.
As we got inside I slammed the door but as I did something sudden burst through the wall a few feet away. As I looked I saw Percy on the ground picking himself up without injury.
“I am going to pay for this.” He said as he suddenly disappeared leaving behind a dust poof signaling he had jumped. We just huddled up as the sound of the battle raged on, but finally after an hour the sounds stopped. With curiosity we looked outside to find a sigh to see, in a giant ice block the beast was.
Percy stood at it side with his giant sword in the beasts chest through the ice. He stood uninjured as well, blood dripped off the blade inside the monster as she yanked it out. As he did the ice cracked into dust as it blew away in the wind. His sword just disappeared in the wind as we walked out of the house.
“Are you guys okay?” Percy asked us walking towards us.
“Yes we are fine just a little shaken up is all.” Luke said giving me a hug with one arm for a sense of security.
“Good but we have to leave I don’t think the king will take kindly to me killing his troupe of black whatever.” He said as he walked over to us.
“Very well just let us grab some things, then we have to burn this place down to hide our tracks.” Luke said as Percy nodded and sat down on a stump.
As we ran around we gathered photos, books, my laptop with all my work, clothes, and other essentials. As we got everything Percy was in the same place waiting for us, Luke just gave him the items and then walked over to me.
“Do you want to do it?” He asked me as I nodded, I took the lighter and the jar of Greek fire. With a little effort I lit the first one and threw it in the cave one, then I tossed the second one in the house.
“Are you guys done?” Percy asked standing up as I nodded and grabbed Garrett’s and Jessica’s hand as they watched their whole life change in a matter of hours.
“I put your luggage in a storage dimension, so don’t worry.” He said as he began walking.
“Where are we going then?” I asked him.
“We are going to the one place I know you will be okay, the Greek hunt.” He said as the sun barely hit the horizon starting a new day of a new life.
