LAST TIME:
As I raced away I watched the ball hit the ground and explode, but I had put up a barrier around the island to not disturb the ocean. But as it exploded I watched the island just vaporize into nothing. As the explosion ended I removed the shield and watched a new patch of ocean form were the island was.
I had to admit after my fight with Eli I had a lot of new ideas about my power but never got to test them out. But this impressive even by my standards I just smiled at my new weapon against Abyss. I just turned back around with my wings out in their Chaos form, and with one flash I returned to camp to begin my duties again.
As I appeared in camp I instantly knew something was up as I walked in the camp to find the hunters all gathered around a table that had Chaos, Diana, and someone else on it. As I walked closer I saw it was a male sipping tear like a true gentleman. But Diana looked mad at the male like she always does with any male other than me, while Chaos looked excited as I came up behind the back of the male as I couldn’t see his face.
“Oh Percy you are finally here thank god.” Diana said standing up and walking over to me and gave me a quick hug.
“Why you worried about me and who is he?” I asked as he turned around to see a familiar face.
“Balbus…”
NOW:
“Yes it is I the great Balbus.” He mocked as he took another sip of his drink and just stared at me as I looked at Chaos.
“Why is he here I thought he was the enemy?” I asked her as she just shrugged and looked at him. He just sipped his tea as he turned to us with a face of ‘did I do something wrong?’
“What?” He asked looking at all of us.
“Why are you here?” I asked him as I got the idea he wasn’t here to attack us as I felt no killing intent from him.
“Oh I am here to make a truce with you.” He said shrugging thinking of it as no big deal.
“A what?” Diana asked as we all turned to her.
“Yes a truce is that so hard to understand?”
“Yes it is.” I replied back.
“Why?” He asked me.
“Cause I kind of killed 4 of your brother and sisters are you not mad at me?” I asked him as I looked at Chaos for answers as she just shrugged.
“They had it coming even mother could tell that, but I was never close to them as I am the 6^th.” He said as Chaos just nodded as he was right about them being kind of crazy.
“He is the most level headed of them.” Chaos said.
“Thank you but let’s get ba-.”
“You met the 6^thwhat is she like!?” Diana yelled with excitement, but quickly steadied her image of a man hatting goddess.
“Well yes and no, yes I have seen her and had conversations with her but I have never physically seen person only her shadow only that bastard Abyss has seen her physically. But as the rumors say she has a very week body and she almost hasn’t ever had a haircut so her hair is super long. But that is about all I can tell you.” He said as Diana accepted the knowledge.
“Is she still pure?” Asked Chaos slowly.
“Yes she is as far as I know, even Abyss wouldn’t dare try and take away her virginity in it might kill her. As I said as she is very weak almost as week as a human child in an adults body, but that is the main reason I come here today. Percy Jackson I want to make an alliance with you and Diana’s allies.” He said as I nodded and sat down as I just saw all the hunter and Riker starring at us.
“All you swear on my name you will never reveal what you will hear here today.” I commanded as they all looked shocked at me.
“Percy do you not trust us?” Zoë and gem asked at the same time as the other nodded, as Thalia looked kind of mad at not trusting her.
“No I trust you with my very soul but this is too important to let get out, so I ask you again swear on my and Chaos’s name to never speak of anything with anyone what you have seen her today unless I tell you it is okay to tell them.” I said as they just nodded and took the oath as I set up and 10 layered barrier around the camp.
“You may begin Balbus.” I said motioning for everyone to sit down as Balbus began to speak.
“As you know Abyss is a crazy, sick, and absolute monster of a person. So I and the 6^th have decided to help you Percy, but currently the 6^th does not know I am here to help you on my own.” He said as I nodded.
“How do you plan to help me?” I asked him.
“Percy at your current power level you can fight Abyss but he will still win.” He said as I was taken back.
“What do you mean my power is that of 10 creators, I have to store my power in a pocket dimension that is connected to me so I don’t destroy the area around me. After Yeul trapped me in my dream for 100 years I kind of had time to build up energy.” I said to him.
“Yes I know but do you know how long Abyss has been alive? You aren’t the only one without a limit Percy you have to realize this.” He said as I was taken back.
“How many creators is he?” I asked him.
“Maybe 100 or more he hasn’t used that much energy in millennia. He is far more powerful than you think, why do you think Chaos is afraid of him? Because he has a nearly limitless supply of energy and with all that and his magic shields on him he is invincible in a sense.” He said as I slowly sat back in my chair as I realized he was right.
“But how can you help me I all already have energy pouring in at 1 creator amount of every 2 year but as I can guess so his he.” I said as he shook his head.
“No you see his is much slower than yours maybe ¼ a creator every 2 years, the reason why is because he just simply doesn’t have the power you were born with. But he does have his limiter removed, so he is still a bottom less pit like you.” He said as I just nodded seeing I still had a chance but I still needed more.
“But the way I can help you is in 40 years me and my sister plan to pass on.” He said as suddenly Chaos slammed her hands down on the table in anger.
“What!” She screamed at him, as he had a sad look on his face.
“Mother I know how you feel but this is my decision and sisters. We both agreed out lives have gone on long enough, and I think you know the reason why we also chose this.” He said as she sat down slowly crying a little but Diana just hugged her earing an eye from all the hunters.
“Yes I understand.” She said through tears of losing her children last 2 children.
“Thank you mother but it will not go to waste I promise you, Percy when me and my sister pass on we will give you a gift from us. But you must wait until then, Diana as part of this treaty I will call it. I will give you 200 of my most elite troops in my own personal army I have, I hope they help you along the way.” He said as she nodded accepting the help.
“But in the meantime Percy you have 80 years until your fight with Abyss will happen, the reason I know this is because the fates kind of like me. But only you can fight him on equal terms and I wish you luck because he may not have any powers other than the dimension portal. But he is equal or even faster than you and has better fighting skills, I wish you luck in your fight.” He said getting up as I was confused.
“Wait I understand he is really good at fighting but you said you were going to help me now. What did you mean by that?” I asked him getting up.
“Ah I almost forgot, you will find that in this scroll.” He said tossing me a scroll tucked in his suit.
“What is this?” I asked him.
“A something left behind by Order or your stepfather from your dimension.” He said as I almost lost my footing in shock as everyone just looked surprised even Chaos.
“What do you mean from my time why do you have this!” I yelled at him as he turned to me.
“Percy you may not know it but Order from your dimension knew what was going to happen to you. Even the part of you coming to this dimension, as he discussed this with the fates. He never told your mother in the fear that if he did your destiny would be ruined. So he made a wager with Balance, he gave her this scroll to her and she hid it in this dimension. But he knew I would find it and give it to you. But he could only see your destiny up to this part of your life, he knew he would not be part of it so he left this.”
“I haven’t opened it yet but the letter to me from him said that it was for you, but Percy do not be mad at him from hiding it from you. He was just doing this to help you and in a way he succeed in giving you one last present even in death. So Percy read that scroll and help Orders last wishes to help you succeed.” He said as he was gone as I just fell on the ground and looking at the scroll.
I just slowly felt two hands on my shoulders as I looked up at Chaos and Diana, both smiling at me but with tears in their eyes. I just slowly looked back at the scroll and clench it hard as I stood up with the help of Diana and Chaos. The hunters just looked like a boiling pot of emotions as I sat down at the table as they gathered around.
“Go and open it Percy.” Diana said as I nodded and slowly undid the small string holding it together. As I let the string fall to the table I just gulped as the hunters were all nervous as I took a breath and slowly opened it. As I did I noticed another piece of paper rolled up inside that popped out as I picked it up and read.
Dear son,
Hello Percy this is your adoptive father Order, I know I was never there for you but I wanted to be there at least one time. So I consulted the fates for a price, I had to give up a large proportion of my power so they could see into the future. I knew that this would be the end of me but it was worth it. So I was your future up to this point as did the fates but I made them swear on my name that they would never tell you or anyone by that matter.
But as my fate came to an end yours began on a long treacherous journey, so even though I am dead I wish to give you one last gift. In the scroll you will find instructions for a weapon that even your mother feared. Do not worry you have all the parts you just don’t know it yet. But as I looked into your future I will congratulate you on your marriage and 9 lovers.
I know one of them is Chaos but I will not judge you it is another dimension so things will be different. Also I wish I could see your children grow up, I really wish I could see that sight. But sadly I cannot as I have passed by the time you read this. But do not worry I will be watching you from the realm of the faded with your mother.
But I guess right know your mother saw this and is currently beating me for not telling her what I did. But Percy I wish you luck in your endeavors in the future which I could not see. You are everything a father could wish for as both I and your mother are proud of you. So I ask of you to be well and always be strong. But I will leave you with one last piece of advice from one of my more favorite quotes.

I just watched tears fall on the paper as I read it, wiping the tears away as I just folded up the note as I nodded. But as I looked around I saw all the hunter crying their eyes out, along with Chaos and Diana. While Riker had his back turned to us all rubbing his eyes. After a little I just smiled as I rolled the scroll open as everyone calmed down.
“What is that?” I heard someone ask.
“It is a blade a fairly large one the same size as Soul reaper.” I said as I looked at the parts needed. As I just shook my head as I laughed at the list as I the others looked at me weird.
“What is it Percy?” Diana asked me.
“Nothing just make some room okay.” I said as they nodded and cleared the table as I summoned all my weapons and set them on the table even my bow was out as I just smiled and looked down.
“What are you doing?” Chaos asked me as I smiled at her.
“Getting my times need for the blade which includes, a magic bow, the blade that steals souls, the dagger of the moon and night, a blade of decay, and a blade of healing, the shields of the great eye, the ring of the creator, and finally the blood of a moon goddess and the creator.” I said turning to Diana with a vial a she sighed.
“Whatever.” She said pricking her finger and dropping a couple drops of blood in the vial then Chaos did the same. As I thanked her I turned back to the items and stacked them as shown in the drawing. After everything was stacked I opened the vial of golden blood and dropped it on the stack of times. In an instant a sudden black dome covered the items hiding it from sight.
Not even my eyes could penetrate the darkness as suddenly I felt something give way in the darkness
“Duck!” I yelled as everyone hit the ground and a giant explosion of black light filed the air but quickly dispersed as bright golden light filled the air. Soon after a minute I slowly stood up and looked at where the weapons were. As I looked at the area all I saw was a glowing bubble of white as everyone stood up.
“What happened?” Someone asked me.
“They fused together.” I said simple as I just reached into the light not thinking anything bad about it. The others just watched as suddenly the light disappeared revealing a sword that just made me whistle. As I felt power roll off of it like a god not hiding their energy.
The sword was much bigger than I thought, it was about a solid 13 feet long but the thing was it had two blades both blades were the a little bigger size as the old Soul Reaper. In the middle the blades came together to a circle with a handle in the middle. Adding 1 more foot for me to be able to use both my hands if I wanted.
The area the blades connected with circle that the handle laid in was about 15 inches wide and slowly slanting down to 10 inches then the tip came to a point quickly in about 7 inches. But the blade just didn’t stop at that point it connected with the hilt. It came down even farther until it was an inch from the other blade, the inch was perfectly centered in the middle of the whole double blades monster destroying weapon.
But along the way it didn’t come inside the circle the handle lay in but curved around it. As it stopped from the other blade it just cut off in a straight line. No sharp edge was inside the inch either as it exposed 2 inch thick inside of the blade. Giving it a cool look as I gripped the handle with one hand, feeling the surprisingly light blade.
Around the handle circle was the design of a sun the flames running up the blades to the ends as they moved. It was like the middle of the whole blade or the handle/hilt was the sun itself and these were its flames. But it didn’t cross the 2 inches of blade that were sharpened but still remained the colors of the blades.
By the colors of the blades I mean one of the 6 foot blades was pure dark red and the other blade was pure white. And the flames running up each blade was the opposite color, so dark red flames were running up the pure white one and white flames were running up the dark red. But in the very middle of the blades taking up 2 inches in the middle and less that the tip of the blade in a steady decline was pure black.
It gave a good look to the blade as the fire raged on the blade as I noticed different shades of red in the fire as it moved on the blade. But the black was untouched by the flames on both sides of both blades. But at the same time it seemed to suck in the light in a pool of darkness that rippled like water. But then I noticed small maybe grain size light bubble seemed to pop up on the blade and fall down to the hilt.
Just like my light bomb I tested on the island but it ran all along both blades, but as I spun the blade I stopped and looked at something delicately marked in the 1 inch edge of the metal covering the blade on the circle hilt. On the metal was scenes of monster fighting but I noticed it was the monsters I summoned as they covered one side the circle. As I turned it over the other side was blank.
But instead of being gold like the other side it was pure silver, as I delicately ran my ringer over the silver metal something suddenly activated. The flames suddenly ripped off the blade as I pulled by hand back. As the flames rippled off the blade they became real red flame and white flames. The hunters all stepped back as it happened, as the heat of the flames came over all of us.
But suddenly they started to close in on the silver circle as it turned into a wheal of flames the same size as the circle. But it quickly spread into an oval covering 1 foot up both blades and still only a foot on the circle not going over the sides. But suddenly the flames vanished as a shield appeared on the side the flame just were.
It was exactly the normal shield of Crimson Sky but it was almost one with the blades, its flame like metal covering 3 feet of the whole weapon. But I noticed it completely protected my hand from anything over the circle. But as soon as it passed over all the circle it started to have gaps in it showing the blade as the flame like shield thinned out at the very edges giving it the look of a sun.
I just starred as I heard someone yell at me as I looked at what they shouted at, as I looked at my arm I noticed a gauntlet starting to form. But the thing that scarred them it was made of flame as it reached the normal length of a gauntlet. As the flame settled it formed a perfectly white gauntlet that traveled halfway up my forearm.
Like the shield it completely protected the top of my whole hand ad area it cover on the top of my front forearm including my fingers to the nails. All of it looked like 3d unmoving flames as it wasn’t straight but it had detail to it with overlapping flames. But on the bottom of my hand it thinned out just like the shield as it covered the bottom of my fingers and my forearm with a ladder pattern.
But the middle of my palm it all seemed to center in the middle but my fingers it did the ladder again. It was easy to move in just like a leather glove it almost felt like I wasn’t wearing it, because the gauntlet let me move my hand so well. I just turned to Diana with a look that said go for it.
“Are you crazy?” She asked me.
“Yes now try and stab my arm or cut it, if it goes through I can just regrow it don’t worry.” I said as she looked skeptical at me but raised a sword. As she came with her full strength down the hunters looked away as the blade hit. But with as slouch snap the blade broke and flew off into the forest as I looked at the unharmed arm as a grin crossed my face.
“Nice.” I said as I clenched my hand in a fist as I planted my new 13 foot blade into the ground. As I looked at it I couldn’t help but remember my old shield as suddenly it began to unravel itself. As it did it grew to the side of my normal shield as the white shield from Eternal Bonds. As I admired the old shield I saw my old shield on my arm, it brought back old memories as I looked at the shield.
But as I felt the grip on the vertical shield I felt the normal button and pressed it, suddenly the oval shield went horizontal and twin 18 inch long daggers sprang out of the shield. One black one silver both giving off a glow of power as I looked at a small spark of electricity spring between the blades. But the lighting was black as it danced on the daggers as I pressed the button and the shield returned to its normal vertical oval.
“Wow.” Someone finally said as I picked back up the blade and the shield disappeared on my command. The white gauntlet reappearing as I spun the bade around more it was almost too big, but with my strength and sword skills I already had a arrange of moves to perform with it. I just awed at the power of the blade as I twirled it around as the blade passed mere centimeters from the ground with my height.
The darkness and light both being drawn to the bade as I thought for a second of all the weapons in the new weapon. The one I was missing was the bow, as I looked it over I found nothing as I sighed in frustration.
“What’s wrong Percy?” Diana asked me as I looked at the bow and then looked at her.
“I can’t seem to find the bow feature on this since I did put my bow in it.” I said as she seemed to think about it.
“Try thinking you have a bow in your hands that might work.” She said as I nodded and focused on the blade. After a second something happened as the blades around the black section suddenly split in a giant X but in the middle the black was still up and down. But suddenly the black part bent towards me as I held the middle still. The shield had disappeared on the front as well as it returned to the ever moving design making both sides match again.
But as the black finally reached proper bow bend a string of pure dark purple appeared, as it did suddenly the edges of the now split blades lit on fire. Fire of the pit to be exact as the black flames all pointed toward the point of the blade making them look like jets of flame. None longer than 3 inches at the 45 degree angle each jet took.
Each blade had 20 jets on each side and one on the end as I just admired the whole thing as everyone backed up. But I also noticed the blades had bent towards me a little to make it so I could hold the bow like a normal one. The flames didn’t make a sound as I admired the cool heat coming from the flames.
As I looked at the handled I noticed the ring was still there but he 1 gap was now filled by the touching blades. The handle changed to a bow one with a small area I could rest the arrow on to fire it. The blades folding so the now horizontal blades were at the half the length of the normal blade length with a curve instead of a hinge making it look cool.
“I so want to test this out.” I said as the others nodded I just looked at the wall as Diana eyed me as I begged her with my eyes.
“Fine one shot that is it.” She said as we were all flashed up to the top of the wall, at first the hunters tried to locate where they were but noticed it was the wall as they settled down.
“So what is your target?” Chaos asked coming over to me as I held my weapon that king of looked like an X with a line up and down in the middle but all the areas bending towards me.
“That.” I said pointing with my free hand, they all turned to the next enemy castle a little over 50 miles away. Just a speck to the hunters but to me and the other two it was as clear as day as I could perfectly see the normal castle.
“Really?” Both Chaos and Diana asked me as if I was stupid.
“Yeah.” I said as they both rolled their eyes in sink as I bet all the hunters were as well.
“Whatever, girls come over here so Percy can aim his bow.” Diana said as if was a joke.
“Don’t worry I have money on you to make it.” Thalia said as she handed about 100 drachmas to Tracy who was currently taking bets. After a little money exchange the odds were 100 to 1 for fail horribly.
“Stand back.” I said as they backed up a little as I grabbed the string and pulled back. As I did I saw a pitch black arrow from on the little arrow holder thing. As I pulled back at full length I aimed and let go. As I let go suddenly all 84 jets of black flame attached themselves to the arrow, after about 300 feet it stopped feeding the arrow. But as I watched the arrow covered in streams of black flame of more than 300 feet fly, something happened.
The flames suddenly took form of a Chinese dragon as it let out a roar as it soared into the distance. The roar shook the wall a little as I lowered the bow to my side as it transformed back into its normal double blade form with the shield. As it came closer my eyes grew wide it was going to make it.
“Chaos can you put up a barrier around us?” I asked her as she nodded.
“Yeah just give me a sec.” she said as she said something and a barrier was put up. About then the arrow reached its target and something happened. A black explosion started to form in the distance in a perfect sphere. It spread quickly for about 5 mile in all directions the black sphere suddenly collapsed as the shock wave finally hit them.
The force was very little surprisingly just enough to blow back some hair if you were outside the barrier. But then a force of the barrier collapsing began to suck towards it like air filling an empty spot very quickly. That force was enough to dislodge some brick from the wall and fall down into the forest as I starred at the completely intact castle.
“It didn’t even do anything.” Diana said as I just frowned, I knew it did something but I don’t know what.
“Chaos teleport everyone to the castle if you can.” I said as Diana looked at me as if I was crazy.
“Why?” Chaos asked me.
“I have a feeling the arrow did something I just want to make sure of what it is.” I said as she nodded as Diana just gave up and nodded. In a black flash we all teleported to the wall with the hunters. As we stood on the wall I carried the new blade with no name with me looking around. I saw dead bodies of guards lying on the ground and dead plants all around the castle for the 5 miles.
“What happened?” Tracy asked as she passed Thalia her large bag of coins.
“I think the arrow suck the life out of everything.” I said as I thought about it.
“Wait those were flames of pit I think I know what it did.” I said have an ‘aw ha’ monument.
“It burned off the souls of everything in the bubble.” I said walking inside as I looked at tens of dozens of dead bodies lying on the floor. As I walked farther in the hunters, Chaos, and Diana followed me.
“Help…” I heard bellow a whisper as I tried to locate the sound as I came to a man lying on the ground. I just set the blade behind me and knelt down as me barely crawled towards me.
“Help me.” He said as I noticed golden blood dripping from his mouth, slowly I reached down and turned his head towards me. His light blue eyes just stared into mine as I watched his life begin to fade.
“The Destroyer.” He said quietly as I watched the life fade from him as he died.
“It burned their souls.” I said standing up with the blade in hand as I continued to walk forward, but there was one thing I knew about burring souls. That it left over energy that anything could absorb, but it is highly deadly to monsters and normal humans. As I walked I came to the main room.
Inside was a giant meeting table that was red and white marble was the walls, red carpet covered the ground along with bodies. But one person sat breathing heavily in one chair as he gripped at his heart. As he noticed us I could see the evident death in his eyes as he just looked at us. I just walked over to him and planted the blade in the ground.
“Hello Destroyer.” He said with a small smile on his face.
“Hello nameless major god.” I said looking at his deep black eyes.
“Percy leave him.” Diana said as I just continued looking in his eyes.
“Do you wish to die by my hand or do you want your soul to finish burning?” I asked him.
“Quick.” He said as I nodded and looked to a hunter for a knife. After I got one I quickly sunk it in his chest as I watched the light fade from his eyes. His breaths grew ragged then stopped as he slumped in his chair as I pulled out the knife and gave it back.
“Why did you do that?” Diana asked me with a confused look.
“Even the some of the worst of people deserve a quick death, everyone but Abyss I will make him suffer.” I said picking up my blade and looking at the glowing ball of white above everyone, I just raised my free hand and the ball shot to my hand. Quickly it absorbed into me as I felt 1 creator worth of power drop in my limitless tank of energy.
“That feels nice.” I shivered as I turned to everyone looking at me as I nodded.
“I think I know what its name should be.” Diana said to me as I raised an eyebrow.
“Ragnarok.” She said as I knew the name fit the blade but not perfectly.
“Ragnarok.” I said as I looked at the blade as I thought of something.
“How about Cataclysm?” I asked her as she thought about it.
“I like it.” Chaos said as she looked at the blade as I looked at it.
“Now just to figure out how to get you to be smaller.” I said as I looked at the blade trying to think of something that would look nice. As he got it he snapped his finger and in a poof of smoke the blade turned into a necklace. But on black necklace chain was a ring of my mother my real mother, as I put it on I slipped the ring into my shirt and looked at my empty arms.
“So Percy you want to go back?” Chaos asked me as the hunters were impatiently tapping their feet.
“Yeah in a little I just need some time to think is all, you guys can go back to camp I will warp back when I am done.” I said as they nodded as Diana flashed off with the hunters but Chaos stayed for a second longer.
“Just because he is gone Percy doesn’t mean he isn’t watching.” She said as she teleported out as I started to walk through the castle full of dead bodies occasionally I would come upon a dying god and I would kill them with a snap of the neck.
As I walked I just thought of my life and how it seemed to be all planed out to this point, but at the same time he remember that not even the fates could see past this part. They could no longer shape his fate only he could, he was in charge of his destiny. With a smile I just finished with the last level of the castle but as I did I noticed something on a table as I came closer. It was a map of army’s positions and current moving directions.
It showed something I had not predicted Jupiter was pulling all troops from all the castles to the capital along with all his allies’ troops. That meant all his allies would be gathered in the capital. Which meant that this would make it easy for me to kill him or hurt him into giving up. But as I looked at the map I noticed a small force coming from the ocean to the main river to the capital.
It had a little over 5 thousand troops but that number worried me a little, why would such a small force be coming to the capital for support. Troops of that number wouldn’t change a thing but if they were elite troops that was something different. I just took a mental picture of the map and took it just in case.
As I walked out of the room I looked around one last time but again something caught my eye. As I looked at it I picked it up and examined the small black box, as I opened it I cursed at myself for being so stupid as I dropped it. As it hit the floor I was gone as the box containing a pin of a clock.
Symbolizing that Jupiter allied himself with one of the most powerful primordials left alive, Chronos the primordial of time.
