This was originally a response to the Jean Claude in denim challenge issued by Cooper 666 on the Pomme de Sang website. Not beta-ed. My first drabble, please be nice. ^_^;
Jean Claude again tugged uselessly at the snug fitting, black denim jeans. He didn’t much mind the white cotton t-shirt, because although it lacked flair, it was relatively comfortable; the pants though, were pure torture.
“But Ma Petite, they are so uncomfortable,” Jean Claude said with indignation clearly coloring his voice.
“Shut up and deal Jean Claude,” Anita returned disparagingly, “You’re always dressing me up for our dates. This is my date; therefore, I get to choose the dress code.”
Jean Claude looked at himself in the mirror again; curling his lip at the simple and most uncomfortable clothing.
“But Ma Petite, could I not just wear my usual attire?”
“Jean Claude, it’s a freaking bar and grill. In your ‘usual attire’ you would stick out like a sore thumb.”
“But Ma Petite…”
“Jean Claude, if you ‘but Ma Petite’ me one more time I will cancel the date and just go home to Micah and Nathaniel. I’m sure they would be more than happy to have me home early.”
“No, no Ma Petite. That will not be necessary,” Jean Claude relented with a small frown. He knew when he was beaten.
“Good,” Anita replied a little less harshly, “We are going to try a simple date for once.” She turned him away from the mirror and thoroughly kissed him. Then she pulled back and smirked sadistically. “Besides, those jeans are hot on you.”
Jean Claude scoffed with a small smile and nipped her bottom lip. “Let us go and get this humiliation over with.”- 1
