Bella looked on in shock into the dark fathomless eyes of her friend, Alice. She was here, really and truly here. Smiling she rushed forward and slammed into the solid form of her friend, like colliding with concrete. Looking up into the pitch colored eyes of the vampire she felt no hint of fear. Only joy and relief that finally someone was familiar to her.

Not that having Jacob around was difficult but strangely enough having a vampire around was so relieving and fulfilling she could almost forget that Edward was gone, that Jacob was as well.

Looking up into that perfect marble face she was struck by a longing she had never felt before. Feeling Alice’s strong arms around her, seeing the strain on her face, she knew she should pull away and allow the vampire the room she desired but instead she leaned up and gently pressed her lips to Alice’s.

C old. That was the first feeling she was struck with, everything about Alice was cold, like Edward, but at the same time it was nothing like kissing him had been. Where he had been reserved and hesitant Alice clearly was struck by shock but returned her kiss. Her marble lips pressing into Bella’s with a fiery passion.

Bella unconsciously wound her fingers into Alice’s short locks and moaned when the vampires tongue caressed her lips.

So good, Bella pulled away when the need for oxygen became pressing, studying Alice carefully she was shocked to realize just how thrilled seeing this vampire here in Forks was for her.

And if she were being totally honest, it wasn’t the friendly her friend was back kind, she truly felt that seeing Alice made her happier than if Edward had strolled into the room at any moment.

“You’re here…your really here.” Alice whispered.

“Where else would I be?” Bella asked, consciously unwinding her fingers from Alice’s short black locks.
“I saw it…in a vision, you…”

“Fell off a cliff” Bella finished needlessly. Alice glowered causing Bella to cringe.

“You jumped Bella. I had to come back…to know.” Alice whispered, forcing herself to look away from Bella. Wouldn’t do any good to let the mortal see her true feelings.

“I was having fun Alice. I didn’t mean to kill myself. And I didn’t.” Bella said matter of fact, pulling away to allow Alice breathing room.

“I saw you…saw you jump…I had to know.” Alice whispered, avoiding Bella’s inquisitive look.

“Where’s…where is he?” Bella asked, hating herself but she had to know.

“He’s tracking…he doesn’t know, I just told Rosalie.” Alice said.
“Okay…do you want to get out of here?” Bella asked, absently stroking the cool skin of her best vampire friend.

“Yeah…ill drive you home but I have to hunt first.” Alice admitted regretfully, trying valiantly to cover her reaction to Bella’s soft, warm stroking hands.

Bella watched as her dad walked through the kitchen, carefully adjusting his tie as he prepared to go to the funeral.

“Dad…Alice is here.” Bella said, refusing to look at her father.
“Is…is Carlisle here?” Charlie asked simply. Bella shook her head.

“No. No he’s not.” She knew inside that he wasn’t who her father was concerned about but the message was clear. Edward was no where in the picture.

“Hey Bella.” Alice said brightly, casually walking into the kitchen, shocked by the sudden increase in her heartbeat Bella shifted uncomfortably and smiled stiffly at her friend. Over the last few hours she had fought the strange sudden longing she felt for Alice.

Where had it come from? It hadn’t been there before…had it?

“Hey Alice…”Bella all but whispered, her gaze locked in on the sultry vampire…watching her every move…filled with sudden warmth Bella stood.

“Umm…I’m going upstairs. You can join me when you want too.” Bella whispered the last part.

“I will.” Alice said, more a statement than anything else, causing Bella’s blood to boil with lust all the more.

Bella lay down in her bed, staring blankly at the far wall, trying to figure out where the hell these sudden feelings of lust came from. She had never like girls THAT way much less….Alice. Sure Alice was beautiful in the unearthly way that all vampires were but that didn’t mean anything…did it?

Shifting slightly when her door opened, she looked over her should to see Alice carefully step into the small bare room and stand there, intently perusing the surroundings.

“Where do you want me to sleep?” Alice asked softly, looking anywhere but at the deliciously soft human in the twin sized bed.

Bella sighed, sitting up she scooted over as far as the bed would allow. “Here’s fine. There’s plenty of room.”

Alice stared at the bed intently, raising an eyebrow she smiled. “I’m not sure room is what that bed offers. But alright.” Alice smirked before stepping forward and pulling the designer shirt off a moment before her stylishly faded jeans followed.

Underneath she wore nothing but a purple laced thong and matching spaghetti strap shirt.

Bella swallowed hard before averting her eyes and she closed them completely at the first feel of Alice’s cold thigh next to hers when the vampire slid into bed beside her.

Looking down beside her when Alice lay down gently, she felt her chest seize at the sight of the unearthly beautiful girl who peered up at her with such wide eyed innocence, knowing that girl had very little of just that.

Without really thinking about it, Bella leaned down and kissed Alice, sighing into those cool lips, moaning outright when Alice guided on of her hands up Bella’s ribs and around her back before gliding under the girls shirt.

“Bella…”Alice whispered harshly, nipping lightly at Bella’s neckline. Bella arched and gasped into Alice’s mouth when Alice brought her leg up firmly between her own thighs. “You feel so good.” Alice whispered.

Bella gripped and regripped the vampire, arching into her lithe body repeatedly as Alice’s firm thigh pressed into her pussy. Moaning when the vampire hissed and lightly scratched her back.

“Inside…go inside.” Bella hissed, seized by a fury of desire as she felt her own body moving against the cool stiffness of the vampire.

“If you say so…” Alice said a moment before she whimpered as Bella bit down on one of her nipples over her shirt.
