I don't own anything of The Chronicles of Narnia, that belongs to C. S. Lewis. This takes place in the middle of the last book. While I enjoyed it, it could have been much better.

Tash knew, oh he knew. He knew how the ape's plan was going to end, and the demon didn't like it. It had been a mistake to trust such a creature to do this task.
A vicious smirk crossed the demon's face. The Calormens needed someone to lead them against the Narnians. And there was only one being that even the Calormens feared...Jadis, the White Witch. Focusing his will, a small, black dot appeared. It grew until it revealed a tall, elegant woman. Her cold eyes opened to the sight of Tash, a vision that even she had to respect, and deep down, fear.
"Who are you and why have you revived me?" the former queen of Narnia questioned.
"Destruction of Narnia is what I wish. I wish to give my people dominion over it, and then, dominion of every single world outside this one."
"I see, and why should I help you?"
"Listen..." Tash began and a beam of white light lanced out from his eyes into her own. The witch creamed and thrashed about, never having experienced the pain she was going through. Once the light faded, a psychotic looked came about the witch.
"You will be my ultimate instrument of destruction! Now go, draw the high king of Narnia out and kill him!" Tash commanded and the witch disappeared. Tash smiled. This was going to be the beginning of the end of all worlds. He knew that Jadis would bring chaos, especially since he had increased the witch's powers to the point where being outside of the current world she was in, wouldn't weaken her.

Tirian, with his small numbers, prepared to fight the Calormens, and, most likely, the dwarfs. Then, a cold wind blows, an icy blue bolt of lightning struck and there, between the two factions, stood a figure. The dwarfs, having heard of the figure before them quickly gathered before her and knelt.
"Calormens, your god, Tash, as revived me so you may slaughter the Narnians before you." she began.
Jill and Eustace looked on, horrified, at the woman before them. The pair knew exactly who this was. Peter and the others had told the two about this evil, fowl, being before them, but she looked different, more crazed, somehow.
"Who is she?" Tirian asked.
"That's Jadis, the White Witch," Jill answered. Every single Narnian shivered in fear. That was the White Witch?! Tash had brought her back from the dead?!
"I see the cowardly high king dared not show himself, no matter, I will burn," she began and the barn that had the false Aslan, was set ablaze, "all until he shows himself. Attack!"

He sat, watching everything taking place. This was not how things were supposed to go. This meant that Tash could see the future and change his plans according.
"If the White Witch wants the high king, then I shall give her the high king," Aslan proclaimed.
"You actually think you can win, kitty cat?" Tash taunted.
"Be gone from my presence, Tash."
"Bah, you don't scare me. But, you must know this, I wish to destroy all worlds. My goal is complete destruction."
"For what purpose?"
"Do you not think that there are not realms beyond what the two of us know about?" Tash began.
"Get to the point, Tash."
"I work for another that wants the destruction of all realities. You can say, I work for the Apocalypse," he replied and vanished.
Aslan looked upon the spot where Tash had been and realized that something greater was going on.

The Calormens and Dwarfs were winning. However, Jadis felt the slash of a sword. She turned to see a familiar figure, but he was older than the last time she had seen him.
"I heard you were looking for me."
"Good of you to show yourself," Jadis said and drew her blade, "now, die!" Eustace and Jill cheered on Peter while Tirian, the other Narnians, the Calormens, and the Dwarfs watched on in shock and awe of the battle.
"You're nothing but a weak human, you can't beat me!" Jadis grunted out.
"I don't know why someone would bother in bringing you back from the dead, but I'll be glad to put you back into the ground!" Peter vowed.

Aslan nodded to himself. The other that had a grudge with Jadis would now help in the fight. His claws sank into the ground. For once in his life, Aslan was frustrated. Forces outside of his knowledge were playing a game.
However, for now, the task at hand was to send Jadis back where she belonged. Then a thought struck the lion.
"Tash will just bring her back. Tash wishes to use her as a weapon..." Then, the lion smiled. True, she was evil, but her appearance in Narnia the first time could not be no accident.
"Now you're putting it together."
Aslan growled.
"It was I that helped that human to create those rings. It was I that made sure that Jadis would be brought here, and it was I that has brought us to this point, Aslan. Now, do you wish to do battle or..."
Aslan roared, a terrifying sound that drove Tash away.
"Redemption, sometimes, is earned by going through the hottest of fires..."

"What's wrong? Can't you beat a mire..." Jadis began but another sword almost took Jadis's left leg off.
"Mind if I cut in?" Edmund growled.
"Hi Ed," Peter greeted, "Just like old times huh?"
"Yeah." Edmund said with a smile.
"Tash brought her back, and I think she's crazier and more ruthless than before."
"So, we send her away again?"
"I think it is our duty to rid our land of this...beast," Peter said.
"Do you actually think that with the help of your brother you can beat me?" Jadis asked.
"I hope you enjoyed your time back, because it ends now!" Edmund shouted and went to hack off her right leg and Peter attacked high. The combat continued at this fierce, frantic pace, until, once again, combat stopped. However, this time it was stopped by the roar of a lion.
"No, not again," Jadis shook in rage.
Aslan roared again, put this time, Jadis screamed and clutched her head.
"Now Jadis, experience the suffering you brought through the eyes of your victims," the lion growled and Jadis crumpled to the ground. All that had been trying to kill the Narnians retreated, now wishing to stay as far from the lion as possible. Edmund readied his sword, but Aslan stopped him.
"Peace Edmund, she is suffering more than death would allow," the lion explained.
"How do you mean?" Peter asked, keeping a hand on his younger brother.
"She has made countless suffer, and now, she will live through it all through the eyes of the ones that she made suffer."
Peter turned white for a moment. Why would Aslan do such a thing? Granted, Jadis was the most horrid creature next to Tash, but what was the purpose.
"All will become clear soon enough," Aslan said. A minute, then two, then five, fifteen minutes then passed as Jadis whimpered and shuddered on the ground. Finally, she stopped and a blank, empty stare came over. Edmund made to strike her down again, but Aslan stopped her again.
"Peace Edmund," he said, putting more force in his voice. "I know what she has done to you and why you would want to run her through, but it would bring you no satisfaction now."
"I don't understand Aslan, what did you do?"
"Tash has used all of us to get to this point. The demon wants to destroy all worlds. Killing Jadis would accomplish nothing. Tash will just bring her back, but with what I've done, I have made her a blank slate."
"I understand," Peter said, his dark eyes alight with understanding. "What she was was destroyed by the despaired she felt in experiencing the suffering she brought to those she made suffer."
"Exactly. Right now she is as innocent as a new born babe," Aslan added.
"Who am I?" she asked. Edmund lowered his head...this was crazy...but, could it be done?
"Who will...?" Peter began but Aslan cut him off.
"You will. You don't have the personal grudge against her like your brother does. You fought her to defend Narnian, not out of a personal grudge. Now come, we must flee from this place before the Calormens come back." Aslan remarked and all followed the lion. Peter sighed. He'd been given a greater responsibility than running a kingdom, turning Jadis into a being of good.
