Nice! Grinning fron ear to ear thanks to you and your story... holy erection... that was hillarious! On the other hand I did get the 'serious' message about love and compassion... what can I say? Those aren't things I do well no matter in what context, but well done you!

Nettle4Brush---Glad you like it. There will eventually be a sequel to this story, too, heh.

Yamiyugikun---I'm really surprised at the lack of negative reviews for this story...there was a time when I got a lot of e-mails about it (apparently it was part of a Myspace bulletin going around), but that seems to have settled.

A lot of people would be offended by this, but they shouldn't. After all, we really don't know anything about the true historical events of Jesus and Muhammad. Historical records are spotty and often exaggerated, and as for the spiritual records of the Bible and Qur'an...I consider them to be little more than (ironically) fanfiction of the two men.

I am not a religious man by any means...but if Jesus and Muhammad were more than mere philosophers...if they really were the son of God and his prophet...they I'd like to believe that they're more mature than the petty, selfish hatred of man. I don't think gods would lay down a million rules, ranging from how to eat all the way to how to kill. Humans are the ones who feel the need to create overly complex law systems filled with their own prejudices and biases. Gods would make a simple but undeniable command, such as 'love everyone'.

Despite being an Atheist, I choose to hope for a divine force of goodness rather than hatred, not the zealous monsters that man has created.

Wow...absolutely powerful. I usually don't read slash based on the Bible but I decided to browse this section of AFF out of curiousity and read some reviews to see what people would say. I want to say, I was deeply touched and moved spiritually by what has been said here in the reviews, that the purpose of creation is love. I never thought much of Jesus and Mohammad as a couple, much less liked Western religion. I've seen a lot of Western religion as promoting war, especially with the recent Christianity/Muslim conflict. If God is Unconditional Love, Love without conditions, accepting of all that exists, then why would fundamentalists claim that God descriminates based on artifical human labels like "homosexuality?"

I like this piece. It's very well done and made. It's actually quite interesting and ironic in a way. Looking forward to another story by you in this section.

r78456---Glad you enjoyed! All kidding aside, if Jesus is the free-thinking, open-minded guy I'd like to think he is, he'd be pretty damn hot. ^_^

AlexR---Happy you liked it, heh. I'd like to believe that if there is a God, he is a kind, loving entity who accepts all who have good hearts.

If God/Allah is the xenophobia, intolerant wraith that hyper-Christians and hyper-Muslims like to claim (many of whom live in the kind of town I inhabit), though...well, why worship him? I'm an Atheist...even if God came down to me and showed himself, that wouldn't mean I'd automatically follow him; it'd just mean I'd believe in his existence.

If people choose to believe in a deity, why not opt for the idea of a caring, tolerant one, rather than some dark spirit demanding obedience and bigotry and violence? And if they're wrong, and whatever spirits above truly are as monstrous as fundamentalist nuts believe...well, at least they'll have lived honorably in life. I know that I'd rather die opposing some violent god, showing love to others instead of hate, than serve it by harming others.

Don't worry about the long review; I like 'em all, heh.

I rarely write reviews on stories...or being more accurate this is my very first review=) But I couldn't help writing it due to several reasons.
First of all I want to thank you for the story! Your work definitely worth reading. I haven't had a chance to check any of your other works yet, but I'm certainly will, cause I really like your style of writing.
Then I want to simply say that I agree with the idea that God's purpose of creation has to be lying within LOVE. I've read all the review before writing my own and I see that most of the people here think the same way. But it's so sad that this amount is like 1 to thousands of others who don't. The city I live in is somehow similar to the one you live in (and of course I'm judging on that from your description=)). And I honestly don't think that people here would change even if they heard God telling them they're doing wrong.
But may be someone will read your text and at least think it over.
So..thank you again and take care!
p.s. and I'm sorry for the long review.

People don't believe it, and may not able to believe it, because that would take away the system of labels, controls, and self-righteousness that they've relied on to feel important for centuries. Bah.

Glad you enjoyed this story, heh.

Loki---Heh, go for it. I'd be lying if I said I don't get pleasure at outraging hyper-religious people.

monkeygodlance---I actually kinda like both, heh. It's so funny to see someone ranting about how much of a perverted monster I am, when all I wrote about was a loving relationship between two powerful historical and theological characters.

Let's hope the attention stays positive and we see less "Enraged Christians".

I have printed out a copy of this story. The next time I'm awakened by Jehovah's Witnesses, I shall give it to them.

Heh, glad you enjoyed and agree with the message.

I admit, I will LAUGH MY FUCKING ASS OFF if God is real and comes down and tells off all the rabid homophobes. Just like how I laugh my ass off whenever someone is offended by this story. I mean, if I had Muhammad raping Jesus or something, sure, it'd be pretty offensive (although still protected under free speech, heh). But this is a story of love, devotion, offering help to the intimidated and oppressed victims of hatred! There is nothing in this story that any sane, truly compassionate individual should be offended by.

Glad to see this story's getting some more attention as time goes on, too. :-D

I whole heartedly believe in everything you say. There is no reason the world should treat homosexuals and bisexuals the way they do. I have a lot of gay friends and find it much easier to hang out with them then most of my straight friends. The only thing we can do is wait till the day the world finally pulls their collective heads out of their asses. When that day comes the few of us who already realized what the rest of the world would just be finding out, the powers that be will hopefully reward us. We can only hope. If nothing else, we can at least laugh at everyone's shocked faces. Now that'll be funny.

Angel---My town is so horrible that I'm making a flash movie about it, lol.

Incidentally, if my parents read this story, they'd likely shit themselves and come after me with a butcher knife. :3

My kind-old-grandmother would probably order a hit on me, too. XD

Your long reviews are fine, don't worry. I appreciate all feedback, as long as it's intelligent, and yours is, heh.

urmomlol---Somehow, I just see Jesus as the 'bottom' in the relationship. It's not a sign of weakness, it's just a personality trait...he was a meek and humble individual, whereas Muhammad was more take-action, so...heh, this would be why I made it the first time Jesus is the pitcher. :-P
