So far I'm really enjoying this story for the characterizations, but I'm hoping the pace will pick up in the next chapter.

im captivated, please write more. my only criticism is that there was no dialogue in this chapter, just narration. i understand that the first chapter is where the plot and characters are set up, but keep dialogue in mind for chapter two. id luuuuuuuuuurve to read a back-and-forth between a confused, adolescent charlie and a barely-restrained wonka. yummyness.... so yeah, more chapters!!!
