Ok then Raven, tell me why my squire freaked and then took off right now. And don’t tell me it is not my business.” Storm looked at Fury who was now watch the new woman like she was a ghost. The two girls looked a lot alike.
“I am sorry to say but you need to asked her not me. And by the way she will not take your shit. So if you ask her you better butter her up first. Oh and Fury right.” Fury nodded and the woman.” I don’t like being snared at. And my name is Raven.” She put out her hand. Fury took it and then sniffed at it before he shook it.
“ You smell funny. Like popcorn. Storm you make them out of that?” fury said as he looked at Storm. ‘Ok one new squire so who is this?’
“No wolf. And why are you here? I thought you were going back to New Orleans. What happen besides the storms.”
“I got Vane to watch the pack. I need room to breath right now. I am not use to being part of a family like them. So where you hunting tonight.”
“Fells you want to come along then?”
“Yeah.”

Raven watched the two and shook her head. She was going back into the house it was cool out and all she had on was shorts and a tee shirt.” Have fun you two. Call is you need me sir.” ‘Damn did I say that. Let me check. Yep I did. Scar is going to be pissed.’ Raven turned then and headed back to the house.
“Damn if I didn’t know better I would say you had two squire that are twins and have some of the best bodies I have seen in awhile. Now that cant be right.” Fury said as he turns to walk down the drive. He saw Storm turn to follow but looked back just once to see the squire go back inside.
“ Well you got it alright. That is what I have. Although I think only one is the real squire and the other is along for the ride. But which one I am not sure. They are like night and day. One sweet and one a demon. Both however are very nice to look at.” Storm said as he followed Fury to the darkness of the driveway. Both disappeared and reappeared in an alley off board way near Fell’s Point Square.
“So they are your new squires. Did you tell them what happen to your other one? Bet you did not. And since you are not answering me I would say I am right.”
The two headed out to board way and down towards linen and things. “Okay so you are right on that two. But I just got them last night and the red head is pure fire. Shot me through with her rules and told me to back down on mine. That she know what I needed and to shut up. Man I think I am in over my head. And I wanted something that was not boring. And as for my first squire it was not my fault that she fell for me and then tried to kill that woman whose name I don’t remember because of it.”
“Is that what you are saying now.” They turn down the next street and headed towards the pier and coffee shop. “I remember what you said really happen and man I hope you do not think because so the two you pick that it will not happen again. Stuff like that shit can happen again and again when you pick the opposite sex for your squires. Did you tell ash about them yet? I know you didn’t by that look. Man what are you thinking.”
Fury was stop dead in his tracks by Storm. He pointed over to the shop and sure enough there sitting at a top out side was Scarlet drinking what looked like a sluppee of coffee and laugh with…’no she is not’ with a daemon. “What is she doing now? Playing bait.”
Fury and Storm head over towards her. Thinking that she must not know or have lost her mind. Storm hoped the latter of the two.
Fury had a feeling that this girl know externally what she was doing but Storm had to good a heart to think wrong about someone he just meet. Fury just knew that this was not going to turn out good. No way no how. This girl was not what she appeared to be. Not in the least. He could smell that even at this distance. As he and Storm got closer they could hear what she was saying to the daemon.
“Yeah. I know a place where we can go. No one would see us or know what we are doing. Come I know you want to. Come on.”
“Man if I knew there where women out there like you I would never have decided to not do those kinds of things again.”
“Well now you know come lets go.” Scarlet was listen to the daemon and his lies. Knew he was waiting for his friends to let him know they where ready. As she watched the daemons face, it went white. ‘What the hell…’
“You know Scarlet you should not go out on your own.” Storm said as he step up next to her. He watched as the daemon recognized him. Man he would never get enough of that.
“And I know I told you to fuck off earlier tonight. You know old boyfriends should leave people alone with knew ones. Come on sweetie lets go.” Scar knew this time the daemon would want to leave so she reached over and grabbed him by the arm as she rose up out the seat and turned to head up the street. The daemon followed her suit and put his arm around her to head with her. He wanted away from the known dark hunter and if she had been the dark hunter girlfriend once then he really wanted to drink her down now.
Storm watched as the woman walked away from him and down towards the pier. There was no way he was going to let her get hurt even if she was a bitch. He turned to Fury, who nodded to let Storm know he would follow his lead.
They followed the daemon and Scarlet down the street. All along knowing that the other daemons this hung with where up ahead. Both men could feel them. They knew she was in for something she would not like even if she thought this guy was normal. A gang rape would not be good for her.
When Scarlet was deep in the middle of the daemons she took a breath. ‘Ok girl play this like you always do. Play dumb and take them out one at a time if you can.’
“So since I am the girl in the middle I will assume that the four of you guys each want a turn. That can be arranged. But who goes first. How about you cutely.” Scarlet ran a hand down the side of the face of the daemon closes to her and took note that she already aroused him. She knew he wanted to bite her. ‘Okay girl this is what you live for.’
The daemon stepped into her and that was what she was waiting for the dragger was in her right hand and then in his chest before he had time to put his lips to hers. As she pull the knife out she watch the other close the circle on her. ‘Ok so not one at a time. Still no problem.’
“Whose next.” The daemon that had walked with her try to step forward but was stopped in his tracks. Storm had come up behind them with fury and now each of them had one of the three remaining daemons he what looked like death grabs around their troughs. Scarlet turn to the last one with out a thought and put her dragger into his heart or at least where it should be. She watched him slide back off her knife as he fell to the ground. ‘This was no fun what so ever.’ Scarlet turned to see how the other two had done and found that all the daemons were down and out for good.’ These two just spoiled my fun.’
“What the hell where you think they could have ripped you apart. Are you fucking crazy?”
“Well Storm to let you know that I was think that would kill a few daemons and not want to kill you and your friend for being assholes but I guess that is out of the picture. So hunter how do you want it. Thought the heart or head.” Scarlet said as she turned to put the dragger up to Storms chest. It would easy right now.
“Who do you think you are messing with? No squire would do this. What the hell are you doing? And just what the hell is your problem with my friends. Man what the hell did I get into. You know what don’t answer I am sending to back to the council right now.” Storm was ready to blow a gasket.
Scarlet just started to laugh. “ Man that was the fasts I have ever been sent back to them. Just I am getting better at this. You know I think one day I will find one dark hunter out there who is really ready for us.”
“I did not say she was going with you. I said I was send you back.” He said with a smile.
“Oh don’t you remember what the web page says. We only work together. You send me you send her.” And with that scarlet pull her dragger back and put it backs in its sheath behind her back. She turn to Fury.” oh to let you know my sister thinks you would be fun but you will never know. Bye Storm I will go get us out of your home.” And with that she started back up towards Broadway and the fish market where she parked her bike.
“Fury man I think I just got played. She was trying to see if I would do that. What are with these two?”
“Storm I don’t know but they are hiding something from you. I can smell it on her. And just now I smelled her fear when you told her she would go alone. I think they have not been apart in a long time. I am willing to bet the last time they where something big happen to them. Should we go check this out?”
Storm shook his head then “yeah let flash their now and when she gets there I guess I will have to asked what is going on with them.”
