Nathaniel blinked at the magazine in front of him, then at his wife who was seated across the table from him. "Jase... love... these cakes are really.... expensive. I can make one. Really. Just as good. I swear. And the tuxedos..." He bit his lip, looking at another magazine that was marked for him to look at. "How are they different? I mean, Caleb swears I'm part gay, though I'm really not, because of my fashion sense, and I don't see it..."
Jase gave him a stern look. "I will spare no detail for you, love. I want this to be perfect for us." She looked at the tuxedos. "It's all about how they look on you. We'll go pick one out tomorrow."
"Yes, Ma'am." Nathaniel stood, hugging her from behind.
"God, my mother had to tell everyone in the pack. Now they all want to come." She sighed. "I think this wedding is going to kill me."
His hands slowly massaged her shoulders. "I'm sorry..."
"Not your fault hun." She kissed his hand. "I just can’t wait for the wedding to come. I’m sick of planning."
"Well... it sort of is my fault..." He pressed a gentle kiss to her temple.
She smiled at him. "Oh hush. And I thought you said you were going to pick up some dinner."
"Telling me to go away, already?" Nathaniel pouted at her. "And I was waiting for you to tell me what you wanted."
"I said to just get something. I'll eat whatever you buy." Jase told him. "And I'm just hungry."
"Alright, love. I'll be back in a bit. Sure you don't want to ride?"
“I'm sure." She told him for the fourth time.
Nathaniel grabbed his keys, pressing a kiss to her lips and headed for the door.
Jase watched him leave. the wedding had her stressed out.
Driving to the store eased some of the stress knotting Nathaniel's shoulders, and he sighed as he got out of the car. Sometimes, he thought the wedding was a mistake- oh, not marrying Jase. That he was thrilled about. But the larger wedding...
He made his way into the market, grabbing the ingredients for chicken Alfredo. Seeing a squash he'd wanted for a side dish in front of a blonde woman, he stepped up to her. "Excuse me, miss."
The woman turned around. "Well, aren't you lovely." She purred at him.
Nathaniel blinked. "I... thank you. Um... can I please have that squash? Behind you?"
"Anything for you, sugar." She handed it to him, but made sure she brushed against him as she did it.
Taking care to accept it with his left hand and flash his wedding band, the wereleopard gave her a small smile. "Thanks."
"Why don’t you take me out sometime, Shug?" She said, ignoring the ring.
"I'm married, miss..."
"And?"
"I don't cheat on my wife." Nathaniel bit his lip, stepping away from the woman.
She pouted. "Well you're no fun at all."
"I'm plenty of fun... for my wife. Have a nice day." Sighing, Nathaniel turned to head to cash out.
The woman stormed away in a huff.
So much for a leisurely shopping trip. Nathaniel sighed, carrying the groceries into the house a bit later.
Jase was passed out on the couch. Planning the wedding had wiped her out.
The wereleopard watched her for a moment, then decided to let her sleep, and began making dinner, which Jase slept through.
"Jase?" Nathaniel said softly, gently shaking her. He'd already set the table.
Jase moaned in her sleep. "Steven..."
He froze straightening from where he was bent over her. His jaw ticking, he turned, walking back into the kitchen.
Jase cried out in pain, still a sleep. "Gary, no!"
He fisted his hands, swearing before gently shaking her once more. "Jase."
Jase woke up crying. "N-Nathaniel..."
He pulled her close, though his body was still tense with jealousy. She'd been dreaming of another lover.
"I haven't dreamed of that day for so long..." She said softly.
"Oh?" He rubbed her back.
"The day Gary shoved me down the stairs. I was eight months pregnant with his daughter."
Nathaniel stilled for a moment, then kissed her temple. “I’m sorry, love...” What was there to say to that? Nothing, really... not that he could think of at the moment. He’d have to talk to Mika about how he should deal with it...
"It's ok. I dealt with it. It's just with the pack going to be there..." She sighed. "They still fear me."
"I'd rather have them fear me than be a victim." He said softly.
She kissed him gently.
He bit his lower lip and looked away before standing. "Dinner's on the table. It's probably a bit cold."
"Is something wrong, Nathaniel?" Jase could read him so easily now.
He just shook his head, standing and moving towards the other room.
"Nathaniel." She said softly as she followed him. "Did I do something to upset you?"
"No... Jase. It's not your fault." He shrugged. "I just am in an odd mood... I think I'm going to call Jason... see if I can come over. You can enjoy dinner."
"O-ok." Jase said quietly. "I guess I'll see you later." She watched him leave, her heart falling into a pit of sorrow.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Nathaniel swore at himself repeatedly as he walked through the Circus towards where Asher had said the 'Special' room was... and apparently Caleb and Jason were holed up while leaving Elias and Sara to snooze in their own bed.
God, he was an idiot. A hundred times a fool to think he could do this... be normal, be married... have 2.5 kids, a picket fence, a house... hell, maybe even a dog. What sort of idiot would want that with him? He opened the door and saw them on the bed. Shutting the door behind himself, he crawled up next to them, gently shaking Jason's shoulder.
Jason mumbled something and rolled over. "Nathaniel?" He asked, still mostly asleep.
"Jason? Can I talk to you?" Nathaniel bit his lip as Caleb mumbled something, rolling so that he was covered in a blanket they'd pulled free at some point.
Jason rubbed his eyes and yawned. "Sure, Nate. What's wrong? Did something happened to Jase?" He was suddenly very awake.
He shook his head, looking younger than his years. "No.... she's alright... I just..."
"Did you guys have a fight?" He sat up and looked at his friend.
"No..." Nathaniel moved, hugging his knees to his chest. "I'm just... an idiot, Jason... I don't know why I thought I could make this work... that I could have a normal happy life..."
"Nathaniel, what's wrong?" He hugged him. "What are you talking about? You and Jase are about to get married."
The leopard shook his head, his lilac eyes bruised looking. "All I'm good for is fucking, Jason... and that's not enough for someone like Jase... She needs... someone stronger. Who does more than take off his clothes for a living..." He swallowed. "Who wasn't some disgusting child whore like me..."
"God, Nathaniel jase loves you. She want you. No one else." He kissed his forehead. "She doesn't mind you being a stripper because she knows you come home to her at night. You are strong. You survived what life gave and you're a good person."
"Oh?" He gave a wet laugh, ignoring the fact that he was now crying. "Then why is she moaning other men's names in her sleep?"
"What? Whose name did she moan?'
"Steven."
Jason frowned. "She dated Steven on and off for a few years, but if she loved him she'd be his lupa not with you."
"Would she? She had to leave, Jason... to stop inbreeding in the pack... and to get away from Gary. Somehow, I doubt if she'd known where she'd be now in the past she'd have chosen this way." Nathaniel fisted his hands, feeling his nails dig into his palms.
"You've got it all wrong Nathaniel. First, Gary is dead. All that's left are memories of him. And she left the pack to get away from Steven because she'd knew she could never be his lupa."
Nathaniel didn't say anything, he just stared forward. The memories would have haunted Jase.. and if the pack hadn't feared her so, would she have left? It didn't matter. Either way, he wasn't good enough for her.
Jason growled at him. "Stop it, Nathaniel. This is the first time I've seen you truly happy. What did you tell Jase when you left? She's probably worried sick about you and you want to know why, because she loves you!"
The submissive jerked, lowering his head in supplication, taking on a traditional submissive stance without thinking about it. "I'll hurt her, Jason... I don't want to let her down..."
"And what will you tell jase? That you'd rather hurt her now than later? For once in your life Nathaniel grab the thing you want and hold on." He looked down at his best friend. "Don't hurt my sister because you are afraid."
"I don't want to hurt her at all, Jason!"
"Then don't be such a dick." Caleb looked at his pardmate, and the shocked look on his face. "I'm serious. You want this? You want her? Get off your ass and hold on to her. Rolling over and giving up like a good little submissive isn't going to fly."
All Nathaniel could do was stare at him.
"Jase loves you for you. If you can't see that..." Jason shook his head.
"I don't want this Steven coming to the wedding." Nathaniel's tone was firmer this time.
"You're telling the wrong person." Jason told him. "But he is my parents’ ulfric. You may want to keep that in mind."
"This isn't his town. And he's not coming. I'm sorry if it messes things up for your parents, but it's too bad." Nathaniel stood from the bed.
Jason looked at his friend. He wasn't sure how Jase would handle it. He could see the fight already.
“Goodnight, guys." He turned towards the door.
"Hey, Nathaniel?" Caleb called.
"Yeah?"
"Next time you crawl into bed with us and we're naked... join in, let us get dressed, or stay out. Jason's my nude puppy." Caleb teased.
Jason shook his head. "I think Jase would make me eat my own balls if I ever tried to put the moves on Nate."
Nathaniel wrinkled his nose. "Er..."
"No. She wouldn't have the chance. I'd eat them myself." Caleb's eyes flashed.
"Hey. You're the one that said it." Jason protested.
Nodding slowly, Nathaniel slipped into the hall.
"That was about him crawling into bed. Not about you putting the moves on him..."
Jason cuddled up next to Caleb. "Sleep time again."
"Nice dodge." Caleb sighed, resting his face on the pillow.
"I have a feeling either him or jase will be sleeping here tonight."
He blinked. "Why?"
"Because Jase isn't going to like him telling her that Steven can't come."
"...Why?"
"Because she sees Steven as her old Ulfric not an ex-lover."
"She moaned his name in her sleep, Jason..."
Jason sighed. "Listen, I know Jase. Steven was madly in love with her, but she never felt the same way. Maybe Nathaniel took to the wrong way." He pulled the covers around him. "Sleep, kitty."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nathaniel sighed as he entered their house, shoving his hair back from his face. He was gong to have to get it cut. The length was ridiculous, and far too hard to care for on his own. "Jase?"
Jase slammed the pot down as she finished washing it. She’d been pretending she wasn't crying since Nathaniel had left. "In here."
His eyes widened as he saw the obvious evidence of her tears, and he fought not to step towards her. "We need to talk..."
"What did I do? Are you not happy with me? You suddenly just rush out after I told you about Gary."
"Can we just sit down and talk calmly? I'm not angry with you..."
"You just ran out on me, Nathaniel." She wasn't crying she told herself firmly even though she knew she was. "What's wrong?"
"Who's Steven, Jase?" Nathaniel wrapped his arms around himself, feeling as if he were a monster.
Jase frowned. "My old Ulfric. We dated on and off for a few years. Why?"
"You moaned his name in your sleep."
"That's because I was dreaming of the night I kill Gary. I said his name because he was in the dream. He was the only one who would come near me."
Nathaniel looked down. “It didn’t sound like that, Jase...”
"What are you implying?"
"What would you think," He asked softly, "If I moaned another woman's name in my sleep?"
"I would believe when you said it wasn't like that." Jase threw her dishrag down onto the counter.
"I believe you now. I'm just saying what it sounded like, Jase." Nathaniel bit his lip, still looking down.
"Don't lie to me, Nathaniel. You don't believe me at all." She sounded hurt.
"I do, Jase." He looked up. "I'm sorry... I just... didn't think earlier. Alright? I'm not worth anything other than sex, and I assumed... Jase, until you, that's all my life had been about. Now... it's.... it's so much more.... but I react to what I know..."
Jase's face softened. "Nathaniel, you mean so much more to me than just sex. I love you with all my heart." She went to him and hugged him. "You know that don't you?"
He nodded after a moment, shaking slightly as he hugged her. "I'm so scared of letting you down... How stupid is that?" Nathaniel hid his face in her hair.
"It's not stupid." Jase kissed his neck. "You won't let me down, Nathaniel because you'll always be there for me."
"Jase...?" He bit his lip, holding her.
"Yes, Nathaniel?"
"Jason told me..." He pulled back, looking in her eyes, "That Steven was probably coming to the wedding..."
"Yes. He's my old Ulfric. I want him there."
"He was your lover, Jase..."
"And I will not insult the pack by saying he cannot come."
"I'd.... rather he not be there." Nathaniel forced himself to say the words, the 'I' sentences Mika talked about in expressing yourself. It was hard, especially since he knew Jase wouldn't be happy with it.
Jase frowned. "Nathaniel, I can't do that. The pack is family. It would cause my parents trouble. I'll ask Steven not to be around much. He'll understand."
He looked down, his earlier bravado forgotten, nodding quietly before turning to the fridge and pulling out the milk.
"Nathaniel...I know you don't want this and if it were anyone else...I never loved Steven. He knows that. If anything, he'll shake your hand and say you're the better man."
He just shrugged, slowly pouring himself a glass of milk. He couldn't compare to an Ulfric...
Jase growled at him. "Damn it Nathaniel. Stop acting so submissive. I know you hate it. Well I hate it too, but he's already talked to Richard and everything."
The leopard jerked, dropping the milk as he turned to face her, his eyes wide. Nathaniel looked down at the gallon of milk as it belched its contents across the floor, then at her. "You're saying that if you placed a personal call to him, asking him not to come, and to please not raise a fuss, it'd be the end of the world. Well, fine. It can be that way. But I don't have to be happy about it, so don't expect me to be."
"You didn't grow up with pack, Nathaniel. You don't understand. And if you can't accept spending ten minutes with my old Ulfric, who I don't see as a lover, then you can get out of my house. I won't get my parents alienated by the pack because you're jealous." Jase stormed upstairs.
Nathaniel stared blankly for a moment, then slowly cleaned up the milk, and headed for the door. He still had his apartment for another month, as his lease was for six months, and he couldn't get out of it early. He'd go there. He didn't want to face anyone right now... if anything, he just wanted to disappear... to go away and stop existing.
Jase came downstairs right as he was leaving. "Nathaniel...don't go. I'm sorry. It's just... you don't understand."
His shoulders hunched, and he hugged himself, fighting the urge to drop to his knees and crawl to her in supplication. He couldn't talk.
"When the rest of the pack rejected me...Steven was there for me...like Jason should have been." She told him softly. "I-I want him to be there. He's accepted we'll never be together."
He gave a tiny nod, but didn't move otherwise.
Jase went to him and hugged him. "I'm sorry I yelled at you. My grandmother has been calling again demanding to know why I didn't tell her that her precious grandson is gay. I got snippy with you."
He nodded, biting his lip again. "Sorry..." Nathaniel looked at her for a moment then turned, quietly going into the downstairs bedroom.
Jase let him go. She didn't deserve to go after him. She'd let her nerves get the better of her and took it out on Nathaniel.
Jase sighed and headed upstairs. She grabbed the phone and dialed Mika's number,
"O'Sullivan residence... this is Rissa speaking... How may I help you?"
"Hi, Rissa. It's Jase. May I speak to your aunt?"
"Sure, Jase!" The little girl said happily, and set the phone down a bit too hard as she hurried off to get her aunt. A moment later, Mika's voice came over the line. "Hey, Jase. How're you?"
"I just yelled at Nathaniel. He's gone all submissive on me and I ruined everything." Jase groaned.
"Oh... I doubt that honey..." Mika looked at Richard. "Can you watch the kids for a moment, please?"
Richard nodded. "But Mika, I snapped at him. The wedding and my grandmother have me so stressed out." Jase told her.
"That made you snap?" The Lupa made her way into her bedroom so the conversation wasn't overheard.
She told her about the whole Steven situation.
Mika rubbed her temples. "Alright... for one, you both need to take some space and calm down. Okay? Nerves, and pressure from things are not going to help. You need to talk to Nathaniel about the stress your under- make sure he knows about it, and make sure he knows about Steven. He can't be expected to just know how you feel... but then again, he can't expect the same of you. You both need to share this stuff. A relationship, and a marriage especially is made strong by each partner carrying equal weight. Alright?"
Jase thought about it. "He's sleeping downstairs, Mika. I feel bad. We'll talk in the morning once we've both slept on it."
"Well, you'll work through it. Nathaniel is right- he doesn't have to be happy about this. But Steven is a friend of yours, and that he does have to accept. Alright?" Mika bit back a sigh.
"Thanks, Mika." Jase laid back onto her bed. "I'll let you get to Richard and the kids. Oh, how is Sara doing?"
"Sara's... dealing. It's rough. The officials are letting her stay with us now, and until all of the legal bull is dealt with. Then we can see about her being here permanently." Mika smiled slightly. "Rissa's all excited about her living here and is 'taking care of her'. Elias is... well, reacting as I'd expect any teenager to react to his girlfriend moving in."
"Like he died and went to heaven?"
"Close enough. I'll tell you one thing, his room is staying cleaner." Mika grinned.
Jase smiled. "I bet it's spotless. Tell Sara I'll take her out this weekend, ok?"
"Alright. Shall I have her call you to set it up?"
"Yeah, but give me a day to work everything out with Nathaniel. I'm going to take her to a day spa so we can relax. Would you like to join us? Oh and don't tell her where we're going. It's a surprise."
"Oh... a spa?" Mika moaned softly at the thought. "Do they do massage?"
"Of course." Jase half-sang. "It's not a spa without massages...and hot, half naked men giving them to us."
"Jase.... you wouldn't consider divorcing your lovely stripper husband and marrying me, would you? I mean it. Really. That's... that sounds better than sex!"
Jase laughed. "Oh, Mika. We can run away to Norway and get married. And get hot Norwegian men to rub us down."
Richard walked in on their conversation. "Mika, dear, are you leaving me for Jase?" He asked playfully
Blushing, Mika smirked. "Jase is getting hot half naked men to give us massages... that might be a reason..."
Jase laughed harder. "Alright I'm done. I'll talk to you in a few days, lover of mine."
Richard shook his head, "I guess I'm not good enough for you anymore."
"Goodbye, lover..." Mika purred the words into the phone, then hung up, looking at Richard. "Well... I don't get massages from you... half naked or not..."
"How about completely naked?" Richard offered her. "I'll make it worth your while."
She quirked a brow. "Oh really? Would you, now?"
"Definitely." He kissed her.
"Ew...Mr. Zeeman, please get a room." Sara said as she came into the room.
"You just walked into my bedroom, Missy." Mika stuck her tongue out. "Therefore, we had one..."
"I came to tell you that Rissa got gum stuck in her hair...so she decided to just cut it out." Sara informed her.
"WHAT?!" Mika shrieked, darting around Richard and through the house. "LARISSA MAY O'SULLIVAN! PUT THOSE SCISSORS DOWN!"
Rissa dropped the scissors but the damage had been done.
The lupa could have cried. Rissa's beautiful hair now laid mostly on the floor, shorn to well above her shoulders. "Larissa, what have I told you about scissors?" Mika asked firmly as she picked them up.
"But I had gum in it and it wouldn't come out. You cut it out last time it happened." Rissa informed her aunt.
"I did. You didn't. And I told you to come to me if that ever happened again." Mika sighed. "Go sit in the kitchen. You're in time out. When you're done, you'd better start thinking of what you want your hair style to be now, because I have to fix it."
Rissa went quietly to the kitchen and sat down.
Mika put her head in her hands, took a deep breath, and looked at Richard, who was standing in the doorway. "Well, it's not as bad as what I did... I shaved my head."
Richard shook his head. "Kids..."
She stood, rubbing the back of her neck. "I'd better clean this up, then fix Rissa's hair. Then, it's bed time..."
Richard hugged her. "I think you need that massage."
She laughed tiredly, leaning into him. "Mmhm... why do you think I was gonna run off with Jase?"
He laughed. "I do see why. And what, you'd leave me to raise the children?"
"Nah... I'd come and visit. I love them too much." She turned, kissing him.
He returned the kiss. "Oh I see. I don't rate."
"No... you'd be the lover I'd have to keep coming back to..." She smiled up at him, her fingers toying with the collar on his shirt.
"You're supposed to be clean hair up." He let her go. "I'll stop distracting you."
"Brat." She smacked him teasingly on the butt, then bent to grab the small dust broom and dust pan.
Richard smacked her bum and took off running, afraid she'd hit him with the broom.
Mika yelped, grabbing her bottom as she stood, staring after him with stunned eyes. Oh... he was going to get it later!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jase sighed. She'd been laying in bed for over two hours and couldn't get to sleep. Her bed felt so empty without Nathaniel. She headed downstairs and knocked on the room he was sleeping in. "Nate?"
The door opened slowly, and he looked at her, his eyes red. "I'm sorry, Jase..."
She hugged him tightly. "I can't even get to sleep without you. I got snippy. I'm sorry."
Nathaniel hugged her back, hiding his face in her neck. "Please don't make me leave, Jase..."
"I would never make you leave. I am sorry I even suggested it." She held him close to her.
He shook slightly. "I'd die without you, Jase... I just wanted to die..."
Jase kissed him. "I don't think I could go on without you. I love you so much. No one has even mattered to me as much as you do."
Nathaniel nodded. "I feel the same... I just can't do it, Jase... I'm sorry. I'll be happy about meeting Steven. I should be anyway..."
"You don't have to meet him." Jase said softly. "Because I emailed him after I talked to Mika. He told me he can't come anyway." She knew it was his way of saving face with the pack. He loved her that much that he wouldn't even come to see her on her wedding day.
"Jase... you didn't have to..." Nathaniel swallowed. "E-mail him. Just because I was being an idiot-"
"He said it freed him up anyway." She shrugged. "It worked out for everyone."
"I'm sorry...."
"Don't be, kitty." She said. God, she'd been spending too much time around Jason.
He blinked, looking at her. "Channeling Jason, love?"
"I guess so." Jase kissed him quickly.
Nathaniel kissed her back, holding her close.
Jase took his scent deep into her lungs. "Where do you want to go for out honeymoon?"
"Didn't we pick Ireland and... where was it?" He blinked.
"Zimbabwe." She told him. "Well, I wanted to make sure before I started calling to make reservations."
"Oh." Nathaniel smiled widely. "Can we stay in a haunted castle?"
"I am not making love with ghosts watching us. I have some pamphlets on the kitchen table. Want to go check them out?"
"Nope." He pressed her against the wall, licking her neck.
She laughed. "That tickles. And what if I wanted to do it on the kitchen table?"
"We can do that... After." He smirked. "As an apology... you should let me make you come as many times as I want."
"I don't think I'd live." Her eyes flashed. "Death by pleasure is the best way to go, though."
He lifted her, forcing her to wrap her legs around his waist. "Oh, you'll live... I'll make sure of that..." Nathaniel kissed her deeply, rocking his hips into hers.
She returned the kiss. "You'd save me before I died." She rubbed herself against his crotch.
"Mmhm..." He changed the angle of his hips, rocking against her clitoris through their clothing.
She gasped and bit her bottom lip.
Leaning down, Nathaniel pulled her nipple into his mouth, laving at it through the fabric of her shirt and bra.
Jase wiggled against him. "Nate." She pouted. "I still have clothes on."
"Mmmhm..." He smirked, thrusting against her again. "So?"
"So, I want them gone."
"And why is that...?" Nathaniel bit gently at her nipple, working it with his teeth carefully.
She bit her bottom lip even harder. "Because I want you."
"Don't you have me?" He shoved the shirt and bra out of the way, sucking hard at her.
She arched her back her head hitting the wall. "God, Nathaniel...you know what I mean."
He purred around her nipple, watching her. God, she was so perfect...
That was it. He was going to kill her, Jase just knew it. She rubbed herself against him.
He moaned slightly, abandoning her nipple to kiss her.
She fed on his mouth hungrily. God, she wished she could have him right then and there.
Moving, he set her down, making sure she could stand before kneeling before her, quickly shoving her pants out of the way, and tugging her panties to the side so he could use his mouth on her.
She gripped his shoulders. He was such an evil cat. She closed her eye as she moaned loudly. The man knew how to put his tongue to good use.
Nathaniel licked deep within her, then flicked his tongue rapidly around her clitoris, urging her to come, and come quickly.
Jase cried out his name as she came, her legs giving out a bit.
He caught her, his tongue laving up her wetness, feeling her clench around the muscle before he returned to her clitoris to make her come again.
Jase bit her bottom lip so hard began to bleed a little. Her legs felt like rubber as he made her come a second time. "I can't stand up any longer."
He lifted her into his arms, carrying her to the bed. "You hurt yourself, love...." Gently, he licked the blood from her mouth, tugging off her clothes.
She moaned into his mouth. "Nathaniel..."
"Hmm... still needy? And you came twice?" He grinned, dipping a hand between her thighs.
She bit his shoulder to stop from crying out again.
"God... Jase..." He slid two fingers deep, rubbing against her G-spot.
She pushed against his hand. "Please Nathaniel, I want you, not your hand or tongue."
He sat up, licking his fingers clean before stripping off his clothing. "How, Jase... how do you want me?"
"I don't care. I just want you now." She growled, her wolf rising up.
Nathaniel's leopard crawled to hers submitting to the female wolf as he joined her in the bed again. "Ride me, Jase..."
Jase rolled and shoved him down onto the bed, He belonged to and only her. She mounted him.
"Oh, God... Jase, that's it... ride me..." He thrust upwards as he grabbed her hips.
Jase growled as she rode him. He would always be hers.
He moaned, slipping his fingers to work her clitoris.
Her nails dug into his shoulders as she continued to ride him. "Come inside me, Nathaniel."
"You come too..." He groaned the words, bucking up into her.
Jase panted his name as she came for a third time.
Calling her name, he spilled into her, his left hand gripping her hip hard enough to bruise.
Jase moved to lay down next to him. "I love you."
"Mmm..." He held her to him, pulling her closer. "Love you too."
"Shit!" She swore loudly.
Nathaniel jumped, looking at her. "What? What's wrong, love?"
"We didn't use protection, Nathaniel."
His lilac eyes widened. "I'm sorry... I forgot. I should have remembered... I just... I haven't had to... that was... I should have remembered..." Terrified she was angry, he stood. "Maybe if... if you wash... It takes a sperm seven hours so swim an inch... or is that an hour to swim seven inches? I... I don't know... I-"
Jase grabbed his hand. "Nathaniel, it's ok." She kissed his hand. "Just lay down with me and enjoy the moment."
"But... you..." He bit his lip, staring at her, vastly unsure of where they stood.
"I know what I said, Nathaniel, but it's too late to worry about that. So lay down so I can cuddle you and get some sleep. I need to work on my book tomorrow. My editor has been sending me emails. Lisa is a Nazi."
"Tell her your husband has been keeping you occupied in bed..." Nathaniel crawled back into the bed, hugging her.
"She'd tell me that I have plenty of inspiration then and to get my but in gear." She snuggled up to him.
He laughed, kissing her temple. "Jase?"
"Hmm?" She pressed her face into his shoulder.
"I love you, more than anything else in this world... you know that right? That I'd die for you?" He tilted her head so she was looking at him. "This relationship is the best thing that has ever happened to me... and we're going to have hard things happen, but I'm not going to give up on us, just because of them. I'll never stop loving you. Ever."
Jase kissed him. "I won't ever let anyone hurt you again. I love you with my entire being. You are mine, now. I won't ever let you go." She hugged him tightly.
Nathaniel purred, kissing her deeply.
She returned the kiss. "Want to do it on my desk?" She offered.
He stood, sweeping her into his arms. "I think... we should have sex all over this house... and that's a great place to start."
She laughed. "Oh, Nate, inspire me." This next book was definitely going to be great.
