In ashes home.
“Ah ash. I think you need to see this.” Alex said as he watched ash walk away from Sammy and her sister who where busy putting together a new music ipod list called how to drive the whole house nuts.
“What are you looking at Alex.”? Ash asked as he walked up to Alex who was holding the look glass.
“ Your dark hunter storm is in bed with someone.”
“So”
“His squire.”
With that ash was gone for his home and flashing into Scarlet’s room.
“ Storm get up!” ash managed to say through changed teeth. His stormy gray eye dark gray. At 6’7” ash was more than standing over them he loomed.
Storm moved in his sleep. ‘That is not ash I know he is not here. I am dreaming.’ Storm moved closer to his squire. That was it ash had enough. He grabbed storm by the foot and pull him off the bed. Storm hit the floor with a thud.
“Who the hell just did that…” storm stop mid sentence as he saw ash. ‘I thought that Scarlet said she would know if..’ storm turn and saw that scarlet was not in bed but already up and had a cross bow pointed at ash.
“Excuse me but ash I think you should knock before you just pop in. some people like to know when trouble is coming.” Scarlet said as she lower the bow. “I assume you wish to speak to storm I will leave.” Scarlet headed for her sister door but before she got there it open with her sister in front of an almost naked fur holding her own crossbow. “ Raven it is ok ash is here to see storm.”
Fury looked up and knew there was trouble. He grabbed raven by one arm and scarlet the other. “Come on before hell breaks lose.” And with that he and the girls where in the other room with the door closed.
“What the hell are you doing with you squire you know better.”?
Storm rose up and look at ash like he ha lost his mind. “Nothing actually but holding someone who needed it. I know the damn rules even if they are stipule. Come on ash, I am not trying to seduce her. She is not trying to seduce me. She just wanted to be held. What is wrong with that? Nothing if you ask me.”
“Well I did not make up the rules and you know what happen last time you though it was nothing. You almost lost you life. And for what a woman with problems. One who was just twisted and the council did not even think about it. Now you got another twisted one don’t you and again you…” ash did not get a chance to finish because scarlet was not back in the room and on him.
“Look damn it you don’t know me or my sister from Adam and eve. You need to back off. He did nothing wrong. Here I though you were here to talk to him about something in the city but no it was the fact he shows confront to his squire. What is he suppose to treat me like chop liver.” Scarlet said as she got up into ash’s face as best she could. “ So what do you have to say now.” Scarlet was so angry that she did not notice that some of the scars on her face could be seen. Ash just watched her. What was he to do the woman before him look like the dead.
“Who or what are you?” ash asked as the woman’s sister came into the room. In seconds she was in front of the woman scarlet and speaking low.
Scarlet turned her back to fix her face. ‘God damn it why was I listen to them. I knew better’ ‘scar it is ok I am here I will never leave your side again. Just fix it.’ Her face scars where small but when she got mad everyone could see them when she lost it.
“ You know ash they say you are a good guy but right now I would like to lay your ass out.” Raven said as she made sure her sister was fixed.
“ Who the hell are you two? How did you become squires?”
“ I can answer that in one word but I will use more. They allowed us in. as one unit. We work as one squire. And we are great at it. Oh ands we are not crazy.” Raven said as she walked away from scarlet and to her room. “Oh and to let you know. If scarlet would seduce him he would be the first man she slept with in twenty years.” And with that raven was back in her room fury following her.
When scarlet turned around she looked normal again. “ Look I am only she squire nothing more. I can’t be. I cont even stand the though of a man torching me that way. So you got something to say to me now say it. Other wise stop yelling at him for nothing and go take care of you own demons. Thank you.”
“ I am only saying this one last time who the hell are you and what are you?”
Storm had watched everything and now was hoping for an answer to ash’s questions because even he wanted the answers. What had happened to her?
“Look if you want to know that you will have to come back tomorrow night I am going back to bed. Please continue your fight down stairs so that I can sleep. Thank you.” Scarlet said as she climbed back into the bed.
“Ash if you want to finish our argument then let us goes to me lower rooms.”
“No I will wait. But don’t sleep here.”
“Ash I will sleep here. And don’t start again. I know what I am doing.”
Ash shook his head but flash out of the room and back home.
“Storm you can go you doesn’t have to stay with me. Besides you will only make it worst on you.” Scarlet said as she curled back into bed still in her robe.
“Two things. First I stay because I want to and second take that dame robe off I will not curl up next to it this time. If he wants to be mad at me fine. But I want to lay with someone right now my self and Scarlet dear that will be you.” Storm said as he flash out of the room. Only to return in black silk pjs. He waited while scarlet realize what he just said.
“Storm I cant…I don’t want…oh hell.” Scarlet got up and removed her rope. Before she could get a nightshirt something hit her back. She turn to see that storm had though a night to her that matches his pjs. She put them on with not argument and curled back into bed. Storm curled up behind her and wrapped her in his arms. “Storm you will have to go soon right.”
“No you two choose the only rooms with no windows up here.” Scarlet looked around and notice this for the first time. “Ok then I guess we sleep.”
“Yes we do. Oh and good night fury.”
“How the hell did he know I was at the door.”?
“ Come to bed. We will all talk tomorrow night. Please fury hold me.”
He came to bed with her. The two fell asleep soon. For tonight all would be quiet but tomorrow night the shit was going to hit the fan.
“Acheron, what happen?”
“Alex I think that those two girls are more then they seem and tomorrow night I will find out what. For now I am going to sleep. Good night.”
Alex watch as ash headed to his room. I wonder if he will believe them when they tell him they are fae.
