Caleb sighed, rubbing his neck as he made his way back to Jason's rooms in the late after noon. Micah had wanted to discuss his... 'affair' with Jason, saying that over all, though good for pard and pack relations, it wasn't a smart idea for them to get involved.
Then, of course, Zane had over heard and had to give him hell... Ugh. He groaned as he opened the door. Seriously. For fuck's sake, Nathaniel had been the only one supportive!
Jason was passed out on his bed. He was laying on his stomach and as completely nude.
Mate. Something in Caleb growled, and he slid the clothes from his body. Slowly, he crawled into the bed, hoping not to disturb the other man even as he cuddled as close as he could get.
Jason barely stirred as Caleb crawled into bed with him. He was off in dreamland.
Nuzzling Jason's shoulder, Caleb purred, sliding his hand slowly over the wolf's body in a petting motion that served to sooth the leopard.
Jason slowly woke from his dream. "Caleb?" He asked, still half-asleep.
The cat stilled. "I didn't mean to wake you..."
"It's okay. Did you just get in?" He rolled over so he could kissed the cat's neck.
Caleb nodded, purring as he wrapped his arms around Jason. "I missed you..."
"I missed you too. How did it go last night?" He asked as he ran his hand down the cat's back.
He stilled. "It... went, I guess..."
"That bad, huh?" He kissed the other man's forehead. "You okay?"
"Yeah. Micah and the others just got on my case.." Caleb brushed his lips over Jason's jaw.
"I'll talk to Micah. Tell him we're not going to break up. I love you too much for that. Now how about some loving?" He asked as he kissed Caleb. His phone started belting out a very loud, obnoxious song. "I'm going to kill her."
Caleb blinked. "Huh?"
"It's Jase." He grabbed his phone. "Horny...but I can't not answer it. She might be in trouble."
"Of course." Caleb hugged the wolf as he answered the phone.
"Hi Jase. What's up?"
"Jason, get over here now, please."
"What's wrong?"
“Just...just get over here as soon as possible and don't tell Nathaniel that I called you." Jase hung up on him.
The leopard stared. "Come on. I'll drive if you want." He climbed from the bed, dragging on his pants.
"I hate her so much right now." Jason grabbed some clothes and put them on.
"Why?" Caleb quirked a brow as he shoved his wallet into his pocket, watching Jason dress.
"I planned on screwing you senseless, but NOOO Jase had to call." He sighed.
The leopard paused, a pout gracing his lips. "That's not fair..."
"What's not fair?"
"I wanna be senseless..." Caleb brushed his lips over Jason's, then turned for the door.
"Later, kitty, I promise. Right after I beat my sister senseless."
The leopard pushed open the door. "Fine... fine... but no actual beating. We could just be cruel and have lots of PDAs..."
He laughed. "It won't bother her at all."
"Well, maybe not..." Caleb turned, walking backwards down the hall. "But it'd be fun for us..."
He put his arm around Caleb's waist. "It will be lots of fun."
Taking Jason's hand in his, the leopard pulled his mate towards the parking lot. "You wanna drive or should I?"
"I'll drive." He said quickly. "I feel like living and I want my car in one piece."
Caleb glared. "And why, exactly, do you think I can't drive?" He stopped walking.
"Because you almost took out three pedestrians." Jason said.
"And when, exactly, did I do that?"
"Yesterday. You almost gave that poor old lady a heart attack."
"You grabbed my fucking cock!"
"I so did not! I touched your leg."
Caleb growled at the wolf, fisting his hands. "You know exactly what you grabbed, Wolf so don't even pretend otherwise."
"Ok. Look who's talking, Mr. Hey I'll give Jason a BJ while he's driving on the freeway."
"You asked me too! 'Oh... Caleb... I think it's so sexy when I see this on TV... wanna try?'" He mocked the wolf in front of him.
"Oh my God, you said you wanted it as much as I did."
Caleb pulled the other man to him, rubbing his body along his to show him what this argument was doing to him. "Mmhm... and I liked it just as much, now didn't I?"
"So you did, kitty." He kissed him. "But my sister needs me....eww...I didn't just say that while horny...I didn't. GOD NO! The mental image."
Reaching down, Caleb rubbed Jason's hardness. "You think of me when you're hard... no one else. You're mine." He pulled back, heading for Jason's vehicle.
"I can't stop thinking about it now. It's scarred me for life now." He went to the driver’s side and got in.
"And what, Jason, would help heal those scars?"
"I'll tell you later." Jason grinned at him as he pulled out onto the street.
Caleb stuck his tongue out at Jason, then stretched, the length of his body straining as muscle pulled taught, then released as he sighed. "So... Jase randomly calls you... Maybe Nate-y Boy forgot to use a rubber..."
Jason smacked him in the back of the head. "Don't say that! I don't even want to think about that." He glared at Caleb. "Ok, sex I can not think about, but she tells me she's pregnant I'm going to kill them both."
"Ow!" The leopard rubbed the back of his head, scooting down in his seat a bit. "Jesus, Jason! Some day she's going to get pregnant anyway."
“That day better not be today." They were almost to Jase's house. "She didn't even show up last night. She spent her first full moon here with Nathaniel."
Caleb sighed, shaking his head. "What's so wrong with them being together, Jason?"
"Her first moon should of been spent with the pack. It's going to be bad when she finally meets them. A wolf who can bear children. It may go bad, especially when they learn she's chosen a leopard as her mate."
"Yeah." He said softly as Jason pulled into the driveway and parked, then climbed out.
Jason sighed and got out. He walked up to the door with Caleb. Jase opened the door. She looked panicked. "Jason, why didn't you tell me that it was Nathaniel's birthday!"
"Oh yeah. I got his present months ago." Jase hit him.
"Oww. Oh, I probably should have told you." He said as he walked into the house.
"You think?! I-I don't even know what to get for him."
"Jase, calm down."
"Calm down! You got him a present."
"Um... Jase? Why don't you get him one?" The leopard's tone was shy as he stood in the entryway.
"I don't know what to get him." She sounded like she was about to cry. "And then what about a party. Does he even want a party?"
"Jase, don't cry. We'll throw him a party. We'll help." Jason was the one panicking now. He got like that when Jase cried.
"Guys!" Caleb shook his head, rubbing Jase's back. "Stop panicking. I'd like to remind you that Nathaniel doesn't even normally remember that he HAS a birthday because of the way he grew up. He'd be thrilled with a simple cake, Jase, so anything you do for him will make it the best birthday he's had." He looked at Jason. "And you should recall that Nathaniel doesn't like being the center of attention at parties unless it's about his cooking or him stripping..."
"I’ll make him a cake then and dinner. It'll just be the four of us." She brushed the tears away and took a calm breath. Jason looked at Caleb apologetically. "Jason take me shopping."
"What? Why do I have to go?" Jason said, but one glare from Jase was enough. "Fine."
The leopard smiled, smoothing Jase's hair. "Any ideas on presents?" He paused, then swore. "I have to get him a new one! He bought the blender thing that I got him last week and was so happy it was like he'd rolled in catnip!"
"There's this cook book he's been talking about. I'll get that for him." Jase said as she grabbed her purse. She smiled at Caleb. "Thank you for being the voice of reason. Jason always freaks when I do."
Caleb blushed. "Um... no problem?"
Jase hugged him. "Now, let's go." Jason shook his head as they headed out.
Caleb ran a hand through his hair as they walked into the mall, wondering what the hell he was going to get Nathaniel. "Maybe I could get him a 'kiss the cook' apron... or a haircut..."
Jase looked at Caleb. "But I love his hair. I know his waffle maker is broken." Jason took Caleb's hand in his own. He was just along for the ride.
The leopard blinked at Jason for a moment, a bit shocked that he'd hold his hand in public before he looked back at Jase. "Yeah... but then he'll want to make me waffles as a thank you... and I hate waffles."
"Well then...Hey Jason isn't that the new grilling stuff you wanted to look at?" Jase said, pointing.
Jason looked. "Yeah. I'll be right back." He let go of Caleb's hand and walked away.
"Pfft. Works every time. Now Caleb, here's what he really want." She leaned forward and whispered into Caleb's ear. "So you see why I didn't say it in front of my brother."
Caleb grinned. "Figures... do you want to pick that up for him? I could distract Jason for you..."
She blushed. "No. I'll stick with the book."
"Pick what up?" Jason asked as he came back. He looked at them. "What's going on?"
"Nothing." Jase said and headed to the book store.
"I was just telling Jase that she should by Nate-y boy some silver jewelry..." He shrugged, then hugged Jason.
"Sounds like something he would like. Maybe I'll pick him up a necklace or something." He put his arm around Caleb's waist.
"That'd be cool. I think he'd like one of those belly chain things... a lot of the girls wear them, but they'd look good on him. On the stage and stuff, with his hair down and flowing around him..." Caleb grinned at the mental image.
Jason nodded. "Yeah. Then we'll have to tear even more girls off of him." Jason buried his face in Caleb's neck.
He bit his lip as Jason's breath caressed his neck. "Um... yeah..."
Jason licked a line down his neck. "You taste so good, kitty."
"Eww..." Jase said as she came back with a bag. "Do I need to throw water on you Jason?"
"You wouldn't need to if I had been able to screw him senseless like I was about to before you called."
"Oh god, Jason. That is so an over share."
Caleb blushed even as a grin stole over his mouth. "Umm... I think I'm going to get him that belly chain, Jason... and pick up some stuff for us in the toy section in Spencer’s."
“'Not you too, Caleb." She said, but she was grinning. "Hey Jason let’s look at cooking stuff." She grabbed her brother's hand and dragged him away. Jason blew Caleb a kiss as he was dragged away.
The leopard pouted at the loss of his lover's touch, then turned towards a jewelry vender stationed in the middle of the store. Caleb looked over the selection of sterling silver chains, debating which Nathaniel would like more. There was one with a flower- too girly. A cross... eh.... and one that looked like a wolf.
His eyes lit on the silver wolf, and he grinned at the stand operator. "Excuse me, Miss?"
The woman looked up. "How can I help you, Sir?" She asked cheerfully.
"Do you have this chain in a thirty or thirty two inch chain?" He pointed at the item. Nathaniel would love it.
"I believe we have one thirty two inch chain left. Let me look in the back." She slid off of her stool and headed into the back. She came back a few minutes later. "Here you go." She handed it to him so he could inspect it.
Caleb tried it on himself with a blush, noting it was a bit snug. Good thing Nate-y boy was thinner. "This is perfect. Thanks." He handed the chain back to her, the wolf charm catching the light. "How much?"
She rang him up. "That'll be $32.87."
Pulling his wallet from his back pocket, he paused. "Could you wrap it, please?"
"Sure." She said. She pulled out a little book. "Which wrapping paper would you like?"
"The purple, please." Caleb shrugged. Eh, what the hell? All the rest were pink.
She reached under the counter and got it out. She wrapped it up for him as he pulled out some money. She gave him his change and said, "Have a nice day."
"You too." How convenient... Spencer’s was right to his left. Caleb swung his shopping bag slightly as he entered the store, heading into the back. Hmm.... what would Jason enjoy...?
